C6 Corvette Sto N Sho Removable Licence Plate Frame

I shopped every Corvette site that I could find, looking for a license plate frame that fit without disturbing the front end look too much. I also did not want to attach it to the bumper with glue. This bracket is well made, easy to install, and removable by just pulling a spring loaded pin. I was worried about finding a bracket that I liked when I started my shopping, but I found a winner! Worked perfectly on my C6. Ok, here is a tip for reducing the install time by at least 1/2.... The mounting bracket calls for holes to be "drilled" in the bottom fascia of the front bumper. That requires that you jack up the car high enough for the drill motor/bit. Instead of drilling, I used the drill bit, held in a vice grip and used a propane torch to get the drill bit red hot. I had marked the hole placement with a marker pin so all I did is push the hot drill bit through the plastic and it went though no problem. Worked for me. Ok -- 4 stars on the build quality. It's a nice bracket.Note* For any of you that run a front splitter that extends more than an inch from the stock front bumper, this won't work. I was really hoping this would because I wanted to keep the mount under the car, but it wasn't possible without severely rubbing against my carbon fiber splitter.Again, great product, not for folks with an aftermarket front splitter.

Just put the plate holder on my vette this morning. Fits great looks great and as the add says very easy to install I think it’s going to work out well

Easy to install and looks better than other mounts.

Nice product. Allowed me to mount the plate offset to the right to help with the airflow of the supercharger intercooler. It ended up looking so good that I just leave the plate on most of the time. Had a lot of complements at car meets.The best part of course is that you can take it off very easily. I would recommend lubricant in the sleeves to prevent any corrosion.

I purchased this item as "Used-Very Good - Minor cosmetic imperfections on top, front or sides of item. Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damage.". I was okay with minor cosmetic imperfections, but was not expecting to be short the mounting hardware and instructions.

Rec'd quickly with no surprises. Have not installed yet so cannot comment on the product quality. Instructions are weak and could use better discriptions
