MMOO Defender Aircraft Aluminum Tactical Pen

This pen is magical.First of all, I am female and I bought this pen because I thought it looked like I could use it as a tool to not only put my words to the page, but also defend me from strangers. It has a hefty grip, and weight. It writes smoothly, and evenly, and you can break a window with it should you need to rescue a dog from a hot car or escape a bad date.Secondly, however, I did not realize it was also a male magnet. All of my male acquaintances love this pen. I have had the opportunity to strike up many conversations with them regarding the pen and have had several male onlookers ask to try it out. I even have a date coming up because of this pen (he's in finance and I think he wants to look more manly)!All in all, I am quite pleased with this pen. I write daily and a good pen is important to me. I love the way it writes, but I am even more impressed with the attention it attracts.Ladies: use with caution.Gentlemen: man up!

It's a solid "tactiCOOL" pen to have. It's definitely a sturdy pen and it feels like it'll take a beating without much fuss. I'm guessing the anodized coloring won't last very long, but who knows. It's a ballpoint pen that looks to be using a Parker-style refill which is nice considering the cost.The glass breaker definitely will work for what it's intended to do. Just be mindful not to have your hand choked up close to the glass and to be mindful of the force you're applying otherwise you'll be racking your arm through laminated glass.The clip is sturdy, it's not incredible, but it should do the job until it gets overdrawn on something thick, like a leather pouch or heavy denim.For $8.99 (12/2016) this pen is nice and perfect for a cheap throw together go-bag. I may buy another if this holds up well and the ink cartridge lasts longer than a month.

My first order (of five) arrived after four weeks but the package was empty. They quickly sent another, and after another four weeks the package arrived but this time the color was off --not plain aluminum but anodized gunmetal. I didn't have the heart (or patience) to ask them to replace.That said, these pens are an awesome value --almost indestructible, at least on the outside. I say that because you must be careful aligning and seating the refill when you replace it. The threading is so good that if you misalign and screw it in you can crush the internals of the pen. The breaker is not tungsten carbide, but I was planning on filing it off anyway --don't want the point. If the refill is not to my liking I will just replace with genuine Parker refills, either gel or regular.

This tactical pen is well made. It has an industrial design and it has a great weight to it. When you twist the pen to release the point there is a mechanical feel to lock the point in place ever so slightly but it seems to go along with the theme of a strong industrial design. The casing is not easily scratched and I doubt this pen can even break. The MMOO has a long lasting feel and design and the clip also stays true to this. The weight of the pen also gives it a nice handle for writing. It almost feels like the weight guides every stroke and it is very smooth. The overall design is clean with nothing hanging off or sticking out. It was precision made. I am happy with my choice.

MMOO Defender Aircraft Aluminum Tactical Pen  This pen is very durable and the writing is very smooth. I know that everyone loves a pen that flows with ease and this is one of them. The grooves make it easy to hold and pivot while the clip is also heavy duty and secure which is great for clipping on to your shirt pockets as well as other surfaces such as clipboards. The price is very affordable and is a great conversation piece, I have received many compliments and would definitely recommend it to others. Overall, this is a very nice and durable pen. This would also make a fantastic gift for those that are pen junkies such as myself. Great product!!!!

I really like this Pen! It is a very handsome looking pen! I just received it today and started using it and it’s weight and design makes it feel very comfortable in your hand while writing. The only thing I think a person may have a problem with is if their hands are too small to hold it properly to write. It would make a great gift!

As an outdoor enthusiast I’m always looking for versatile tools when I’m out in the elements. This pen definitely has a lot of capabilities that come in handy, but it also stands the test of being loose in my packs—awesomely durable! The only reason I gave 4 stars is it might be a little more than I need, but hey, that’s better than less!

Very nice product, it would be nice if it was made with a heavier metal, but aluminum in this pen is very sturdy and semi-resistant to impact as well
