Review: More Porter !! - The start of book two of the never series picks off where book one leaves of but now the couple have a whole new set off Issues to face off . Porter and Ella face off with more issues with Kyle and his drama while also trying to find their way back to each other with Ella amnesia and Ellaโs family. As they face these things they take us on a journey to finding their way together while Ella try to remember their love. Ella and Porter and some respects have a story book romance that has its happy times, villains and that climactic moment that leaves you breathless. This story is filled with a little of everything but unlike the other I had my moments when I said really but it was only for a second I quickly got over it. Because I was tossed back into their romance. This book is just as steamy as the first but it is also in all intense and purpose one of the best romance in a while. Porter and Ella finally find them set up on a path to happiness when Kyle comes back in the picture and so does his drama which always end in with nothing good .Crazy as ever and bringing nothing but drama and secrets that will have you asking what just happened and when did I miss that . I absolutely love Ella and Porter as a couple and root for them throughout the book. Ms. Michaels keep you hook to the end while falling in love with her characters. This books has everything throw in a crazy ex bent on revenge, the heroin having amnesia and you have the makings of a great story that leaves you asking what else can happen? Review: Loved Ella and Porter - This was a very good sequel. I commend the author on the development of characters that were loveable. There was an excellent balance of romance, suspense and action. There was growth in Ella as the story developed. She matured and grew stronger. Porter also grew and showed a softer side, that by no means made him appear weak. I do feel the ending was rushed. I wanted less in order to get more. An example was the lunch with Porter's mother, and the long picnic. The letters, though cute and original were too long. I cannot say that I read them completely. I wanted to focus on the "how" of the villain, instead. I also found editing issues with this book as well. Once again, a one star cool point for my pet peeve. They were not distracting, just annoying. I would like to see a short story 2.5 sequel. There is more to tell. Give us a wedding and a baby, or something. Tell us about post-traumatic stress disorder recovery. Tell us how and why the villain accomplished the deed. Please don't leave me wondering and wanting. Deliver the shooter from the first book up for justice. This was a serious crime, that deserved resolution. The author has talent, and I will purchase her work again. The English major in me says get a better editor. I prefer error-free work. Just sayin...

Wonderful book! Currently reading the 3rd book in the series :)
"When her eyes met his, he left as if a piece of his soul fell back into place." After the huge cliffhanger in the last book, I was both relieved and disappointed that she got her memory back so quick. I enjoyed it nonetheless. Blurb The Never Series continues with this steamy, emotional thriller. Ella wakes up to a world turned upside down, recovering both physically and emotionally from attacks she can't remember. As everything and everyone that Ella loves gets threatened, she must find a way to fight the darkness of yesterday so that she can live in the light of tomorrow. I loved Never Far Away just as much as the first one. While the first one seemed to be more intense, this one seemed to focus on the reunion of Ella & Porter. I love their relationship. I love that Porter never gives up. It totally makes him book boyfriend material. "He was the kind of handsome that made women weak-kneed and swoon." When Ella was coming to, she had no memory of Porter. She only remembered his voice and him talking to her but after asking her parents and sister if there was anyone else at the hospital they said no. So she spent a while trying to listen to different voices as they came in the store. Then she heard his. The book is mostly them reconnecting and I loved every minute of it. Along with the romance there's suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat. Wonderful book! Currently reading the 3rd book in the series :)

Great love story
WOW where to start NFA starts right around where NCE left us with a major cliff and book hang over, Ella still does not remember anything from the past 6 weeks which includes her week with Porter Masters, but she senses something is off. "The Voice" is the one thing she clings to and every man she crosses paths with she waits to see if he is the one. Porter is getting tired of dealing with Ella's parents and sister and he decides enough is enough. After reading Ella's letter to him one more time, he heads to Portland to see her, she is all he thinks about can't breathe without her he needs to know. He comes into Poppy (Ella's store) and runs into Megan, once Ella hears he voice something inside her comes alive and she goes up to him and questions him. They meet for coffee and plan to go out later in the week. After their one date Ella starts to get a vey bad migraine and Porter takes her home and stays with her but he has to get back to Lincoln City to go to work so he calls over Megan to sit with her. Ella's night is restless and she has visions and each one is of Porter and times they spent together, her headache gets so bad she just sits and rocks herself back and forth then their is peace and calm and all the pieces come together. She remembers. She drives two hours to Porter's house in the middle of the night and surprises him by her memory returning. They vow never to be alone again. But HEA is far from our happy couple, lurking in the darkness is Kyle and the games he is up to even amaze me. Ella feels that she needs to leave Porter to save him and she does. She is now the bait. The last 1/4 of the book had me on roller coaster ride of emotions. You feel the pain and anguish that Ella & Porter go thru and the love they have for each other. WTG Anie for writing such an emotional filled lets keep them on the edge of their seats book.

Great story..poorly executed
I really enjoyed the story line, however the author did a poor job of telling it. I couldn't relate to any of the characters. It made it a little boring to read, so the best part about it was that I was able to put the book down and work around the house. Also, there were a lot of errors in the book. I don't think anyone proofread and edited before it was published. I mean, a mistake here or there is no big deal, but there was a typo on almost every page. I'm giving three stars instead of one or two because I think this is a new author who has potential.. but she's lacking something...and so was this story

A must read for romance readers that want a little heat thrown into the mix. Thanks Anie Michaels for another awesome story!!
What would you do if the love of your life suddenly couldn't remember you or your love? Could you stay away and wait patiently for her memory to return? Do you do what her family wants? How long is long enough? That voice! Why won't anyone tell her who it was? She just wants to hear his voice and know that what she remembers is real! Porter's love for Ella is the most heartwarming love I have experienced in a long time. To have such a strong man brought to his knees waiting and praying for his love to be remembered. I was so upset that he was not doing more to bring them back together. So very frustrated with the story Anie was telling. Soo upset with Ella's family. This 2nd book in Anie Michaels series is heart wrenching and heart warming all at the same time. To see the struggle of not being able to remember and of remembering everything but not being able to share it with the one person who matters the most messed with my head and my heart. I cried with Porter, I screamed with Porter, I screamed with Ella and cried for her too. To know that something is missing and know that the people around you know but won't tell you really messed with me. How could they do that? It really made me think about what ifs. The journey back together for Ella and Porter is not easy but I fell in love with both of them all over again! One sentence changes everything and finally brought back to me the love story I had been thirsting for since the last page of Never Close Enough. Loved this story and Anie has very easily moved to the top of my favorite authors list and this is just one of the many reasons why.

Good Sequel
I'm going to get my couple negative comments out of the way first....there were a couple slow spot but just a couple and I was pissed at Ella for being so hesitant to talk to Porter at one point but it all works out and in the end it makes sense how the attorney plays it all out. There is a 3rd book that I am going to get but unlike the ending of the first book I am not stressing to get more at this moment. I feel like the need a little happy basking time before I learn more.... LoL if you read book number 1 you probably don't even need to read a review to realize you have to read book 2. It was almost involuntary to need to read this for me after being left shocked by the ending of the first. This one will put your mind at ease about their story.

Breathtaking, romantic, thrilling,and so real.
Maybe Porter and Ella just became my favorite characters. I have never written a review before but I am just compelled to express how much h I loved this series. First it's because Porter was such an adorable person as well as being real, A hard working man, waiting for an honest relationship, Not a sex crazed egotistical user as so many leading men in novels are. He loves deep within and is not afraid or ashamed to show his emotions. Love love love him and how precious he treats his mother. Ella is also a strong character and does not allow herself to be used or disrespected. I'm not a fan of whining lead female characters. But the most precious part of th he book was the conversation between Ella and Tilly at lunch. I actually had tears as I read of Portor's father's death. Oh, and the sexual content was beautiful, HOT, but most all very romantic!!! It was believable and I enjoyed the purity of it without saying 'll the BDSM . GREAT READ !!!!!!!

The story continues...... what a wonderful and a well worth the wait book. I love it!
Well worth the wait after reading the first book - 'Never Close Enough'. When reading the book it made me smile, laugh and cry. Fighting to keep the love & faith, and protecting the one true love is displayed all across the book which makes Porter a more loveable character - the rock to keep scare and an unsecured Ella grounded!!! Porter Masters..... a new book boyfriend of mine, taking me away from my reality any time. Thank you Anie Michaels for a wonderful story among the 2 books..... and for forwarding the release date!!!! Lol. Hope for a continued story between Ella and Porter in the future, but best wishes for a new journey in the world of adult contemporary novel writing! Looking forward to reading new stories in the coming future!!! :) Bevy S . V.

Fantastic follow-up
OK, so I have to admit I really wasn't happy with the cliffhanger ending for Never Close Enough but I absolutely loved Never Far Away. It picked up right where the previous one finished and the story was simply amazing. It made me laugh, cry, gasp and really crave cheesecake. I fell even more in love with Porter and Ella and I was super happy that they finally got their happily ever after. Anie really knows how to suck you in. I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next
