NAOTMen's Mikael Flat Sandal

Bought these as a gift. He loves them, says they are better than birkenstock due to the padding in the footbed. I took off one star off an otherwise 5 star review because the "vintage grey" did not look like the photo at all. They were light beige leather "washed" irregularly with black shoe dye. Not attractive. I bought shoe dye and gave them a quick once over, now they look gorgeous!

Was looking for a really comfortable slip on sandal, and I think I found it. I had tried Birkenstock but it was not as comfortable and returned after few days. These are really easy to walk around all day, great fit.

To small. Exchanged for half size larger, easy quick exchange...love them. Comfortable, wear them all the time. Had a pair like this before that lasted for years. Highly recommend. Naot knows how to make shoes.

What can I say. I have an identical pair that are nearly 30 years old and still are good. I bought these to keep in my condo in Florida. It takes a while for the footbed to conform to my feet, but in time that will happen and they become the most comfortable sandals.

I finely replaced my first pair after 10 years, I still wear them, there just a bit tattered. The new pair is just as good as the old pair. I do not have a full arch and it does take time for the insole to fully form to my foot, but it gets there over time. These sandals actually relieve my lower back pain and often get worn around the house for just this purpose.

I have plantar faciitis and needed a new pair of sandals (since Merrell's and many others have gone to flimsy crap) with reasonable firm sole. For me, the sole should NOT bend except at ball of toes, no bending through arch. These are pretty good for sandals and I can walk 1-2miles in them without heel pain.

Ordered these to replace a pair of lost Santa Barbaras: thought they'd be better in the wet. They would have, but the stitching on the top and the cushioned upper was a deal breaker - felt like a Tempurpedic with rope around the edges. Returned them. I'll take the concave cork and suede footwell anytime.

Perfect fit, and love the somewhat distressed dye application which lives up to the 'vintage gray' name. The footbed is pure heaven with the baby soft suede.

Amazing shoes

Although I have not wore them yet the leather on one of the sandles is all marked up. Looks scratched or something.
