Storex Classroom Craft Project Box – Stacking Plastic Organizer Fits 12x12 Scrapbooking Paper, Purple, 5-Pack (63206U05C)

I purchased these and was a little nervous at first. I wasn’t sure if by the measurements listed if they would fit my 12x12 scrapbooking paper. With the indent where the handle was I was questioning whether the papers would fit but they do, Perfectly!!!I highly recommend these to anyone for project storage and more but especially for scrapbooking. They were incredibly easy to assemble and the colors are just slightly see through so you can see what’s the contents inside are without having to open them. I also like the different colors so I can easily identify what box I need in the moment simply by the color..Another bonus, these are made in Canada! Big kudos for me to get products made on our continent so we can support our local neighbors.

These are perfect for my classroom! They are very versatile and I could think of a bunch of different uses for them. I snagged them when they were $20 for the pack of 5. I would not pay more than that for these as they are not great quality. I received 2 of them broken! When I wanted to return them for new ones they expect you to ship them back, super inconvenient if you do not live near an amazon center to make the return as they do not fit in the amazon lockers. Just beware that you might receive a few of them broken if you decide to order these.

These boxes were not inexpensive, so I expected them to be fairly sturdy. Today, after four days of use, one of them has broken. I am a fourth-grade teacher and students use the boxes at their Guided Reading centers. The boxes are only handled a couple of times a day, so there is NO reason why one has broken already. The white hinge is the specific part that has broken. Unfortunately I cannot return them, as the 30 day window has passed.

My set arrived with the purple hinges broken on the box. The other box lids are extremely flimsy and do not pop onto the hinges easily because there is residual plastic over the hook parts on the lids (see photo of orange box lid - this was the same situation with every single lid) I bought these to store arts and crafts supplies that I purchased for my nieces for Xmas- and these are obviously NOT going to work. I’m very disappointed. The colors are great and they would’ve been perfect but these are not a quality product. If you’re on the fence about purchasing - I encourage you to buy another product. I would not recommend these at all. Yikes.

These boxes are sturdy, well made and hold up to 12x12 inch sheets perfectly, with less than an eighth of on inch to spare even at the bottom where it is tightest. They stack quite securely. The hinges are true two-part hinges (not a cheap strip of molded plastic), so the lids open completely and stay open with no effort. The latch snaps closed with a positive click, but is easy enough for a small child to open. The darker colors (blue and purple), could be a bit more translucent, but that is a very minor criticism. The boxes are quite well made compared to the plastic junk we see so much of these days.

Overall, I think these storage boxes are wonderful! I like them to store my child’s massive collection of arts & crafts supplies, school work, legos, small puzzle sets & all those random tiny toys that reappear after I thought I’d tossed them. I also use a few for myself for organizing/separating important documents. They’re great because they reduce clutter & both my child & I can easily push them under our beds to keep them out of the way. I bought a set of 4 for the same price per container from another store (not sure I can name names on here) that are the same size & seem to be slightly better quality, as they are sturdier & the material just feels of better quality, but they no longer sell them for some reason, so after searching everywhere & finding this colorful set, I figured I’d give them a try. My only complaint is when assembling the top on each container, some of the plastic just flaked off & it seems that part could break at some point, but hopefully it’ll last.

These boxes are awesome. For reference, i'm using them to store quilt blocks for projects i'm working on. finished blocks that are small enough and more importantly pieces of blocks that are not assembled yet. also great to store scraps fabrics and notions. i have the clear ones and will be buying more. i was considering the colored ones, but i like that i can see through these. they also fit PERFECTLY in an Ikea expedit (kallax) cube storage unit that i have.

I am missing one lid out of the five and they are extremely hard to attach the lids to the bottoms. Not as good a quality as I had hoped for, but I did get what I paid for. I will spend extra next time to be better quality. Some of the 12x12 pages don't fit when you fill it up because of the inside lips on the lids.Would like to know how I can get a lid for the one missing. It is the clear one. Thanks

Received these containers today one was broken has shown these containers are not very sturdy I would not recommend buy them very poor qualityEdit: upon closer inspection I noticed a second container had the back corner cracked I definitely wouldn’t recommend buying these containers definitely not worth the price

I use these for my wool applique. They hold a project at a time, all my needles, wool and threads, so very convieant to carry around for the car, or when traveling. Also seethrough.

Three of these are broken already. The first broke at the hinge with very little use, and the broken side was like a saw blade. Really wish I hadnt bought these.
