I bought this yarn to make a laceweight version of Svetlana Gordon's WaterLily scarf. The colours are soft and the long colour change means that this is perfect for knitted lace of any kind, because the lace patterns will show through the darker colours. I love Zauberball and their imaginative colourways.

Item received bears no relation to the colourway shown on the website. What I got is: dark bottle green, dark bluey green, dusty dark lovat green, plum, slightly lighter plum, dark grey, darkish purplish grey and shades in between. I have tried to get into the centre of the ball but overall the colours are all muted and nothing like the photograph in the advert. Look at the picture of Tea Ceremony and imagine it darker and muted with some shades of grey and that is what I got.I have tried to upload a photo but it isn't working.I have been onto the Schoppel-Wolle Lace Ball website and they are showing the same photo as Amazon for Smoking Area.It's a nice colour combination but not what I wanted.Very disappointed.
