The construction and material of our medieval tailcoat is high quality for this much fabric with all functional buttons, quality stitiching and good fabric. Feature: Vest: The built in vest is strong material and nice snap buttons. Good style cut for the top and bottom. Collar: The color is more colonial/gothic than dressy. Folded up you have a very pirate/gothic look and folded down looks a little more dressy and colonial. Tails: Tails may be longer than you originally wanted. But worked. Just be careful when knelling as you can end up catching the tails when standing back up. Pockets: External pockets are functional with rounded interior. It's just a decoration and no internal pockets. Warm Tip: Machine wash or hand wash COLD, and line dry only. Don't dry clean and bleach. Be prepared to sew buttons
Looks as expected. Buttons are needing to be seen on better. The material is lighter than expected but husband likes that.
