WizKids D&D Attack Wing: Wave One - Hobgoblin Troop Expansion Pack

If you’re buying these for use in a normal D&D game they’re great but you should know that every figure is of the same design. There are not unique poses or miniatures in this set. If I’d had known in advance, I probably wouldn’t have made the purchase but that is entirely on me, not the seller.

I didn't buy these for the attack wing game, instead bought them to get 6 hobgoblin miniatures for my D&D game. They are perfect for D&D, proper medium sized creature bases. However, the bases for the attack wing game have little adapters on them to slide medium creatures in to, and those bases are actually perfect for a large sized creature (2x2), and my other minis fit inside them. So when the odd time a medium creature becomes a large creature from a spell or whatever, those bases will make things easy! Probably won't happen a lot, but hey, I got more then I was expecting!

I love these I really wanted some hobgoblins for My D&D campaign and these did not disappoint. I plan on perhaps adding little things to differentiate them in the future but right now they're perfect as they are took some pictures of a few next to some pathfinder goblins, hobgoblin, and bugbear for scale.

Cheaper when I bought them this way than individually on mini sale sites. Still the same quality if not better.

I wanted several hobgoblins and this took care of that.. this is how all mini's should be sold, I would spend a whole lot more on them if I knew what I was getting. the creatures are decent looking, come with items made for attack wing, which I don't play, I bought it just for the mini's . They are the same mini would get from the Tyranny of Dragons sets..

Item just as described but the included cards, tiles, and tokens are not pictured in the main picture. Heavy duty clam shell packaging...difficult to open but excellent if you are collecting and want to display. A very fun game to play and the figures look right at home among the other D&D miniatures.

I only use the pack for the figures. Because of this, I'm generous with the rating, so to speak. The quality of the pieces is fine, with the need to remold parts here and there. Since I don't use the pack for the Attack Wing game, I won't detract from its rating on that account. So, be fully aware I am pleased with the models, but know nothing of the Attack Wing game.
