Squeamish About Sushi: Food Adventures in Japan Paperback – September 15, 2006

Cute book! My daughter and I both love it. More useful information than what I was expecting. Illustrations are good. We cannot wait to try sushi now!

I also own "Clueless In Tokyo" and that's another delightful book by Betty Reynolds, but the illustrations in this book are particularly charming and colorful.

Wonderful book, with lot's of pictures, words written in Japanese with translation and English pronunciation. I pleasantly surprised my sushi chef last week with couple of words and phrases I learned from this book. Highly recommend!

It is amazing how much information is packed into this small book written at a children's level. As an adult studying Japanese I highly recommend all Ms. Reynold's books. A classmate introduced this one to me and we were both thrilled by it.

I think this is probably a useful book but don't buy the Kindle edition as it is useless. It is "optimized for larger screens" but it is unreadable on my Samsung Note 10.1 which has a large screen. Tiny tiny tiny handwritten text cannot be read without a magnifying glass and text size cannot be changed as it is not a standard font. Grrrrrr
