A wonderful Classic,chock full ofeasily understood expressions of love.I think the best part is the child can see the well done illustration and the reader canpersonalize their love for their child while the little one has the illustrated example on their mind. Great opportunity !

My daughter's 8 months old and LOVES Nancy Tafuri we bought her this book for her "something to read" for Christmas and she looves it she just wants to hear it all day and look at the pictures and trace them with her fingers :)

Order as a last minute gift from my little girl to her new baby cousin. Came fast, however arrived with cover that looked to have been torn and glued back down. Gave it with an apology to the new Mom :(

I have lived this book for years. I read it to my 19 year old as a baby and continued until she read it to me. I give this book as a gift to all new moms. To this day. " forever and ever and always " is said in my house

This is one of my most favorite books for very young children. The illustrations are beautiful, the story is kind and heartwarming, and there is an unwritten message of love of nature and wild animals throughout the book. I have bought this multiple times for new parents. It is a very sturdy, very well made board book. I highly recommend it.
