Cailyn Cosmetics O! Wow Makeup Brush, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

I love this CAILYN O! WOW Makeup Brush! I was pleasantly surprised, as I truly didn't know what to expect with this brush. I had been wanting to try the Artis Brushes, but they were just out of my price range at an average of $70 for each brush. I saw this brush was recommended as a “dupe” for one of the Artis brushes, and I’m so glad that I gave it a try. For 1/3rd of the cost, this one brush will literally replace at least 5 brushes in your makeup brush collection. You can apply multiple products back-to-back without ever stopping to clean the brush in-between products, which is unheard of. First, let's start with how soft, dense, and full this brush is! I compare the softness and quality of this brush against some of my higher-end $60+ brushes. It’s packed so tightly that nothing can fall inside of it. That’s the key to this brush. Makeup doesn’t melt or get absorbed into the fibers at all, so it decreases the amount of makeup that you need to use. You will literally save product and money by using this brush because you only need to use half the amount of product that you previously used, reason being that none of your makeup is being absorbed into the fibers of this brush. To apply, I usually take my liquid foundation and apply small dots of it all over my face with my fingers. Then I put my concealer over the areas where it’s needed. Before blending anything out, I take my contour crayon and apply my contour lines on my face, forehead and nose. Then I take my brush and just blend. It’s effortless and it takes a fraction of the time that it would take using other brushes or worse… using a Beauty Blender. Blend everything together using the same brush without ever changing the brush. There are many videos and examples available online on Instagram for those who are interested. After I blend out my foundation, concealer, and contour, I use the same exact brush and apply my blush and highlighter. It doesn't cross-contaminate my products or the brush. I've never seen anything like this at all, and this is the beauty of having a brush where the makeup doesn't soak into the fibers. I use liquid products for my foundation and concealer, a crayon for my contour, powder for my blush, and powder for my highlighter. It handles all the different products just fine. If you preferred, you could buy 2 of these and keep one for liquids and one for powders to keep things really clean and separate, but it's not necessary. I will say that the size of the CAILYN O!O Wow brush is a little smaller than what I had anticipated. I thought it would be just slightly larger. I have uploaded photos next to a standard liquid lipstick to show as a comparison. However, it's still a perfect size for applying foundation all over the face. The top has an angle that gets into the corners of the eye areas for concealer (or other tight areas that you need to get into), and it's perfect for applying blush/highlighter/contour colors. Honestly, the only other brushes you'll need are smaller brushes for eye-shadow and eyeliner and your large powder brush to set everything. Done! You really can't go wrong with this brush. At first I thought the design of a "toothbrush" style brush was rather odd. I continued to notice their rise in popularity, and that's NOT by some mistake or false media hype. There's real technology behind the brush. I'm not sure if the other cheaper brushes made by other companies hold up the standard of the CAILYN or Artis brush brands, so be very careful. Most likely, the key is in the composition of the fibers and also their density. I don’t think they’re all made alike. Artis Brush has a patent on the fibers in their brushes. CAILYN uses another type of synthetic fiber, which obviously does a great job.

This is by far the best make up brush I have ever owned. I like my make up to look natural so I have always used my fingers to blend it on my face. I got this recommended brush and will never go back!! This one feels amazing. At first I was using the same amount of make up that I usually do but it felt like it was too much. This blends so perfectly that I don't use near as much as I used to. This is probably TMI but I run the brush across my freckles on my chest to get off any excess makeup from the super soft bristles after I'm finished with my face. Because I use a smaller amount it's hard to tell if any excess is actually coming off but it makes me feel better when I put it away. This way I don't feel like I need to wash it constantly. I have no problem using it again the next day and it's just as soft and pliable. I would recommend this to anyone who is on the fence. I watched some youtube videos on application first to see if I wanted to spend the money. The videos used more makeup than I ever would but the smooth coverage sold me completely. No instructions came with mine at all... not even how to wash it. That was kind of disappointing but not enough to even think about removing a star. One more reason why I'm so glad I watched the videos first. If I hadn't used it plenty to give an accurate review then you probably would see one less star. I can't wait to see how long it last. Have I mentioned I highly recommend this? It does take a very small learning curve on how much makeup to use at a time. I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and after 3 times I decided to start with a lot less because I can always add more.... Well, my less has stayed less because it's so even. I even use it to spread the primer more evenly. Maybe over a year this brush will pay for itself with the money saved on using less makeup. That would be even better.

I really wanted to try out a face brush like this, but some of them are crazy expensive!! This brush is just the right price and is great quality. It blends my foundation and concealer so well. It leaves me with an airbrushed look. The little pointed bit at the end is really great for the creases of your nose and the corners of your eyes! The only issue I have with it is that I thought it was going to be bigger. Its about the size of a spoon. I was really hoping for one of the bigger almost palm sized brushes. Other than that though, its perfect.

I absolutely love this brush. I have spent hundreds of dollars total on makeup brushes and this is by far my favorite brush for applying liquid foundation. I really wanted to try this brush because I have heard so much about the new oval brushes that are taking over the makeup industry, but none of them had this handle, and WOW does the handle make a difference. Application is so simple is ridiculous, the curved handle really makes it effortless. The finish is so smooth; it really gets into the fine lines, especially under my eye. The brushes are so dense and soft it really makes it look like the makeup is airbrushed. I used it for cream foundation as well and it worked just the same if not better. I now use this daily for liquid foundation and when I do cream contouring. After using this, I feel like I need this type of brush for absolutely every step of my makeup routine, I want a small one for my eye shadow blending and a small one for my cream contouring on my nose. I really wish that all of my makeup brushes had this type of handle, you don’t realize how much of a difference that curved handle really makes until you’ve tried it. I am absolutely obsessed with this brush!!!!!!! I would recommend this to literally ANYONE who wears makeup.... of any kind, You will fall in love, and its unbeatable for the price.

I worked in a drug store and saw this for $29. I only bought due to several customers telling me how great it was for smoothing out makeup. I bought it and found it's very soft yet firm bristles hold makeup / lotion/ cleanser well and it blends products nicely on face as well as under eye and around nose . It had a pear shape which gets in creases and cleans up nicely with soap . Let stand or lay down ( my preference) over a raised surface like a toothbrush holder . I've had for several years and it holds up very well and i use for above applicatuons not just makeup. Also there are other sizes available online if want different types to upgrade your tool arsenal 😉. Hope this review helps.

Love this brush. I've paid 2-3x as much for truly excellent foundation brushes, that will now sit unused I suspect. Three things I LOVE about this brush? 1) The soft/dense bristles feel fab and give an airbrushed effect. 2) The shape of the brush head reaches all the contours of my face, without packing product into corners at the same time. 3) The angle of the handle means I can SEE what is going on. With a standard, round flat-topped brush like this my hand is in my line of vision, so I can't see the progress of the procedure. Something I never even thought of until it wasn't with this one. I like that it came with a cap for travel, as the angle of the bristles does mean it won't lay flat with other brushes. And it's cool that it stands up on my makeup table. Ingenius really, if you want to keep your product at the front of the line on your customer's makeup tables. But I would hunt for this one in the pile anyway, it's that good.

I wasn't sure about this product. But, for the price, I thought I'd give it a try. I can absolutely say that this thing is wonderful! If you are looking for a dupe of the expensive brand, this one does work. Looking at the description, it may sound like it's small, but it's the perfect size and shape to get the foundation applied perfectly. It fits under the eyes without a problem but is large enough to easily cover the larger areas of the face, like the cheeks and forehead. This brush applies my foundation smoothly and with a look that I can't get from just using my fingers. And I feel that it's cleaner and more easy to work with than blenders or products like that. This is one of those products that I wish I had several of in my makeup bag. And I am thinking of getting a couple more to have on hand for other parts of my makeup application. I very much recommend this brush. Great quality and a great price.

I wanted to love this brush, i really did. My package came a little damaged, and my brush almost looked that it had been handled before, it had a scratch across the handle, and the brush itself didn't look 100% clean. I washed it thoroughly, and the next morning after it was dry I went to use it, my intial reaction was like, wow! It really spread my foundation on really nicely and evenly...but I feel like, unlike with a brush or beauty blender, this doesn't press the foundation nicely Into your skin, instead it just glides it across your face, which I definitely noticed at the end of my day when half of my makeup had slid right off my face, so the next day I used it again, thinking maybe I'll set my makeup a little better, I used powder and a setting spray..and granted it wasn't as horrible as the first day, it was still bad. So bummed!

I have good traditional dense brushes so I was really sceptical that this tool would reallly make that much of a difference,.well I was wrong . I used this brush with my compact powder foundation and it went on so smooth and flawless it really looked like it gave an airbrushed appearance. I highly recommend it , it also has a travel cap which I like. I'm not sure how this would compare with the higher end Artis brush which I'm sure is amazing ,, but for the cost difference not sure it would yeald visible difference . I highly recommend .

Gekauft, weil ich auf YouTube bei vielen gesehen habe. Finde nicht so toll, zieht ein wenig die Haut, schwer zu reinigen.

This is one of the best amazon purchases I've ever made. This brush is amazing and once I got used to using it I will always have to have one. Foundation glides on and I can use it close to my hairline without any getting in my hair. If I want heavier coverage in certain areas I will dab it a bit with my beauty blender. Before I purchased I looked for a review online and watched a YouTube video of this brush vs the artis brush. The girl experimenting actually preferred this to the very expensive artis. There's no possible way to be disappointed in this brush!!

It's a good brush for what it is, but if you're expecting an Artis dupe... the Artis is miles ahead better. It blends better, it's higher quality in both build and bristles, and it gives makeup a much better effect than this brush. I'll still use this brush for concealer or backup, but it's no comparison to my Artis oval 8.
