Good book
I ordered this for my grandson, and he said he enjoyed it. Will probably order another book from the series.

Good stories and clean!
My baseball loving son loves these books. He doesnโt love reading so finding books for him is difficult sometimes. But he loves these! Several boys on his team love them as well! Yay! Finally!!

Great Series
Reading level and storyline are a good fit for our 2nd grader, and could be great for older kids, too. Chapters are a good length to keep him interested, and he enjoys the sports-themed series so much so that he asked for additional titles for Christmas!

Highly recommend the books written by Matt Christopher
My 7 year old grandson loves to play baseball. He's in the first grade and had no problem reading this book. He loves these books written by Matt Christopher. The author is able to write to the reading level of young kids which keeps them interested in the book. My grandson did not have any problems retaining what he read and is very excited to read every night before bed. Highly recommend the books written by Matt Christopher.

Good book
I have a nephew that struggles with reading. This was the perfect author to give to him since he loves sports. First time he ever breezed through a book!!

9 year old loves all of Matt Christopher's books and ...
9 year old loves all of Matt Christopher's books and he loves hockey. Hard to find some reading material that will pull our 9 year old away from electronics but these books do, so we purchase them all!

Boring
Writing style was not entertaining for a 10 yr old. Not intriguing, monotonous with naming every character in a simple story. This author's dirt bike books are written much better.
