Writing about Writing: A College Reader Second Edition

I have this for my English 300 class and was worried based upon other reviews. I find the stories entertaining, since each is written by someone different, each are read with different difficulty. Some of the stories are a bit frustrating but in all, interesting. I gave 4 stars for having great points and keeping me interested while reading. The stories are memorable. -1 star for some of the difficulty in reading.

Terrible condition on one. I'm sorry but it is not acceptable when you pay $65.00 for a brand new book and it comes in full of stickers, one of them a bright green florescent sticker, and obviously one of them says USED on the back and the book is "dog-eared" to boot. It took me 1/2 hour and lots of goo gone to make it presentable for the student to use. I was not impressed. That being said I have received 15 others which came in fairly good condition, packaged in a box that was way too flimsy for holding 14 of these books. I was not impressed with the packaging on these and had to transfer them into two other boxes, heavy enough to carry all 14. I left the seller feedback and I've yet to hear anything. I'm not impressed.

In good condition, the only problem was even when I sent it back due to technical glitch it kept on saying it was still due. Had to contact Amazon to look into it. The book itself was good read, it was for a class though.

Bought in poor condition the cover had stickers all on it and there was some markings in the book it’s not able to be rented or sold back to book stores.

This book is a requirement for my English comp. class. The information is presented in a clear and thought-provoking manner; I find it much more engaging than the majority of books I've had to buy for classes. It's an approach to writing that is a bit out of the box and challenges the status quo, which I greatly appreciate.

Arrived promptly and since it is a book for my Writing 2 class I found it especially helpful. It is definitely worth the read

the cover was bent when it arrived but the online version of the book has not been used yet and the pages are all crisp. good purchase
