why does the picture look different than other air filters for 2017 honda civic? this one is compeltely rectangluar where others have a corner

There were two engine options available with the 2017 Honda Civic. One was a 1.5 L turbocharged version (which this filter will fit), and the other engine available was the 2.0 L, which this filter would NOT fit. So, if the filter looks different from the one currently in your vehicle, you no doubt have the 2.0 L engine. This filter (CA 12050) fit perfectly in my 2018 CRV, which has the 1.5 L turbocharged engine.

Does it fit honda crv 2019 1.5l exl??

In the product description it says it is compatible With: Civic 1.5L (2016-2021) VTEC and CR-V 1.5L (2017-2021) Turbocharged. Hope this helps.
