I was looking for some new shorts for my wife for jogging/exercise/sports/etc and found these shorts from Baleaf. We both have a couple pieces from Baleaf and we know that their material is so, so soft - their women's pants and shorts are always the softest material. My wife was so excited to order these and she was anxiously waiting for her buttery soft shorts to come. These did not disappoint in the least. The material is really soft, but is also really strong and a good color. There was no squat see-through with these shorts, they stay opaque all the way.The blue shorts with the 5" inseam are a great pair and they looked good on my wife. She was worried about the length as she usually prefers a longer short, but the 5" wasn't bad and certainly not a booty short like you can get some of the shorter ones. There are good pockets, which is a huge plus as you are dealing with a short pair of women's shorts. She was very pleased with the count and size of the shorts.All in all, she is very happy with these shorts, and I think she looks great in the shorts. Two happy people!My wife is 5'4", 143 lbs, 32" waist and the size large fit her perfectly.

I bought the grey and the 2pk black. The grey shorts fit true to size, the fabric is comfortable and stretchy, and the seams are non-irritating. The light grey ones are not see-through! I often wear these under dresses in the summer, to help with the ol' chub rub (thigh chafing). I love that they've got multiple lengths available, and the pockets are fantastic, especially if you happen to be wearing a dress without pockets! The fabric appears to be high quality and in line with other Baleaf shorts I've purchased in the past. My other shorts have lasted forever, I just can't wear them any longer due to some recent weight loss.The 2pk black I bought were more disappointing, and the reason I updated the review to 4* (I couldn’t submit separate reviews). The fabric felt cheaper than other Baleaf shorts I own and the sizing was different from the grey shorts. They were much tighter, the fabric was rougher, and the seams were somewhat irritating. Overall just felt like much cheaper shorts than my other Baleaf gear. Disappointing that they went cheaper on the 2pk.

I bought three of these biker shorts (size L) - 1 - Heather Blue - 55% cotton, 39% polyster, 6% spandex, 1- Purple - upgraded fabric - 75.8% nylon, 24.2% spandex and 1 - Wine red - 87% polyster, 13% spandex I didn't read the materials used for each short - and therefore didn't realize that each one had a different fabric. I just looked at the default example (which, for me, was the black shorts 87% polyster, 13% spandex) and thought each short was used the same fabric. All 3 fit - the heather blue one is just a bit snugger. The materials used are clearly listed - I just didn't realize that they were different from the default black shorts. Lesson learned - and I would buy again from this seller. :)

This is the second pair of these shorts I have purchased. The others were 7" long, which I had purchased to ensure they didn't ride up. I wanted something shorter, though, so went with these. I did a trail run in them recently, they did not ride up at all, which I was VERY happy with. Trail running for me has a lot of movement, jumping around, moving back and forth, and the shorts did not ride up or roll up on the legs. I got the purple color, which I really liked, it's a deep plum. The pockets are great and work well for holding your phone, keys, or pretty much whatever you need to put in there. I would definitely recommend them. They are high waisted, which for me, at this point, prevents any kind of muffin-top from occurring. Also, high-waisted style is defintely back in, so it's good no matter what your age.

So these are extremely comfortable, and honestly once I need a smaller size I’m coming back to this brand again for my new stuff. They’re soft, stretchy, and the pockets are great. BUT and this probably shouldn’t have surprised me, the light grey really show sweat marks. Made the mistake of wearing them to a training session at work which is usually about 15 minutes on the elliptical to warm up & 45 minutes of strength training, possibly another 30-45 on the treadmill after if I need to work more steam off and the grey ones showed it all afterwards. No issues with the black or darker colors I’ve gotten, so these light grey are home workout only ones now.

I love these shorts so much that I bought another pair. When I go walking I want to take as little with me as possible. These shorts have a pocket deep enough to put my phone in. It also has a nice small pocket up by the waist where you can put a key, money, credit card, and drivers license for identification. They are sooo comfortable and the waist does not roll.

I have a few of these from prior year(s) where they were mid-rise and I don't mind high-rise although I also don't find these high-rise shorts to rise much higher than the mid-rise. I love the pockets on both sides but the one on the waistband has gotten thicker since the prior versions so you can see it a bit on your tummy which I don't love. My weight has fluctuated a little the past few years but these shorts always fit great and look flattering. Personally I do not like the materials used for any of the colors or patterns except the light grey and charcoal grey. Those are like stretchy cotton blend which is comfortable for lounging and working out. The material for the other colors is a cold, shiny, bathing suit-like material that feels gross and shows spots once I start sweating. On one hand I think they're a little over priced at $20 but on the other they fit great, they've held up well (washing warm gentle and air drying flat on rack) and I did come back for more... It would be AWESOME if they could make other colors in the fabric/material used for the charcoal and light grey!!

I use these for cycling, running and sometimes just wearing underneath a dress or skirt. Good quality and good value for money. Would definitely recommend! They fit as expected super happy with my purchase.

These are great shorts for the price! The material is a bit stiffer than other bike shorts I’ve owned. And yes! they have pockets! They fit true to size. They also do not go see through. Wish they were slightly softer material.

Great, 3rd pair of Baylef shorts. Would definitely buy more. Bought a M, I’m a size 10 and they fit great.

Greta fit, confortable, strechy. Good for cycling and running <3 Purple is also a nice colour.
