Not sure about the accuracy

There is no y section. Under Jesus it says Jehova saves. It's common knowledge the creators name is not jehova. Some will argue Yehova, or Yahweh, or Yahova, but jehova is thoroughly discredited. Jesus's Jewish name is Yahshua, some argue Yeshua, or Yahoshua, but they don't even mention that. They cannot even get close to accurate on the two most important names in scripture, and the whole reason for scripture. Don't waste a penny on this.

When reading Scripture, and come upon a name, you can see what the meaning of the name is and gives you a better idea for a clearer understanding. For instance, Chaldeans are defined as “as it were demons (root = to lay waste; to destroy) astrologer. Wanderers” .. if you read in Habakkuk 1, you see how the Chaldeans are talked about just as demons.. 👌Very pleased with this purchase!

I have had the paperback for many years now and when I seen it was on Kindle I jumped on it as it helps me understand the origin of the names and I don't have to carry my book with me when I travel. Judson Cornwall was one of the great teachers of the Word and this is a wonderful tool to add to anyone's library.

I have found this book most helpful. It gives the various definitions of all the peoples' names and places in the Bible with pronunciations. My only suggestion, if they should revise the book, is to add from which original language the root definitions are based. The authors do show the outdated definition verses the newer definition. A great reference guide.

This is just the book on bible names i was looking for! It is truly exhaustive when it comes to bible names!The meanings of every bible name can only be found in this book. I have learnt so much about so many bible scriptures because i can get the meanings of any bible name i want. For example, we all know that david killed goliath. This is a most useful book giving the meanings of names in the Bible. Often the meaning helps to understand the character of certain individuals and why they acted the way they did. It most certainly helps with any in-depth studies.
