These were great, but at my local trails you have to climb to get to the fun, which unfortunately made these less fun. I ended up switching to something lighter, but if I didnโt have to climb so much I would switch back to these for sure, super grippy

Excellent off road tires
Installed these on my sonโs Specialized mountain bike. Fit perfectly and have excellent traction. Installation was easy. Most importantly, my son loves them and the extra performance they provide.

Fantastic tire. Kept me flat-free for 102 miles of Arizona Trail
I'm so impressed with these Maxxis tires. I knew that I had to upgrade my cheap, stock tires that came with my Cannondale ahead of taking on the rugged and torturous terrain of the AZ Trail. Seeing that other MTB riders rode on Maxxis, I jumped on the (pricey) bandwagon. Happy to report that after 5 days and 102 miles of sharp rocks, boulders and steep descents the tires kept me rolling the entire time. No flats, tears or anything. I don't run tubeless so I would definitely know if there was a puncture. They are expensive, but it's worth it when you're hours from civilization and need to rely on the rubber that meets the gravel underneath you.

Great MTB Tires
We bought these tires as a replacement for ones that had worn out. We absolutely love these tires! We have taken them in rain, mud, dirt, rock, road and so much more and we can't believe how much grip these things have. Do great in the mountains and wonderful on red or solid rock trails.

Great tires
These tires were the same size as my previous set (29x2.3). They handle better than any tire I have used in the past. I can feel the difference when cornering. Installing takes patience (a little soapy water goes a long way).

awesome tired
When I first started riding I scoffed at the price of these tires but after several tires and all failed attempts to go tubeless, these set right away and have been a game changer for me. My area is full of cactus, large rocks and thorns and these have been invaluable. I have the Minion in the front and an Agressor rear.

Good tire, with one caveat
This is a great tire and I'm running them on my IBIS and I've run them on my Giant. Just know that there's a slight gap between the tread on the top of the tire and the side of the tire. So when you're taking a sharp switchback or berm you have a split second of panic where you feel the bike slide because it's transitioning between the tread groups. Otherwise it's a great tire but the first few times I felt that after running a more all around tire I about freaked out. Besides that, the tread holds like a champ and chomps through most trail terrain.

Maxis DHR 11/Great Tire/Super Traction
Just changed my rear tire after 5 years.I was running a specialized tire my bike came with and just changed to this Maxxis DHR11 and what a difference. I had been getting a lot of flats on the back tire, read up a bit and found new tires @ the right tire pressure make a huge difference.

Bulletproof !!
Still one of the better front tyres out there and seems to be indestructible. Seats on rim easily, but make sure that the pressure is correct as it can get skittish. Love this tyre !!
