Good shoes, hard insoles
These shoes truly seem to get rid of my heel pain, however, the insoles, even with the added inserts, are rock hard.I also have pain that radiates under my pinky toes at the ball of the foot. Due to the lack of cushioning in the inside, it exacerbates the problem.With that being said, they seem very well made. They have a very nice toe box for wide feet. And have super support in the arches.I work in a restaurant and am on my feet for some 16 hour shifts. I might buy a size up and get some super cushy insoles as I like these shoes overall.There are slip resistant. NOT NON-SLIP. The shoes are great in the FOH and wait station. Still pretty slick in dish area and tile in the kitchen.

Nice alternative to Shape Ups
Due to issues with multiple joints from a connective tissue issue, I have worn Sketcher Shape Ups for years. Sadly, my last pair fell apart. Since they were discontinued, I have been trying to find another rocker type shoe. I have been wearing the gdefy for a week and really like them. While the gdefy sneakers have less of a rocker feel when stepping, the Comfort Fit insoles provided and shoes themselves are supportive and comfortable. Only the front of the gdefy rolls when stepping, as opposed to the front and back of the Shape Ups. Initially, the extra cushioning in the heel of the gdefy felt weird, but it definitely allowed me to walk more and have less pain at the end of the day. Given other reviews, I ordered a size up and the sneakers fit great. I usually wear a 7.5 and ordered an 8. Given price and comfort I would order these shoes again.

Solid shoe
Great color! Love the textures of the fabric.Loved the assortment of insoles that came with the she. The actual comfort for my feet, I actually wish it was more. It was a bit hard for me, I will not be using them for long distance walking because I have great pain in my feet. (Unfortunately, Didn't return them on time.)

Comfortable
Fits true to size. I have a narrow foot so using both the included inserts helps to make a snug fit. There's no heal slippage, and the toe box is comfortable. Because of my high arch I do require more support from my 3/4 length orthodics. So I removed the standard insole, inserted my orthotic, and layered their yellow "corrective fit" insert on top of my orthodic. I also have some neuropathy in the balls of my feet. The yellow foam insert does help a bit with the pain.

true to fit
Why does such a well designed, well made shoe have such crummy shoe laces. You have to stop and retie them over and over during the day. If you pull them tight they cut into your feet.How hard would it be to put thicker and softer laces in these shoes. That is the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.

Excellent customer service but....
I ordered these shoes 3 times in different sizes. Each time I ordered a larger one. The last size I ordered definitely should have fit but the toe box was still too small. It didn't seem like the shoes got longer as the size got bigger. I know that sounds strange but it's true. The shoes are VERY NICE looking. These are high quality shoes. Their customer service was excellent!! They responded very quickly with refunds and a new pair of shoes. They also put inserts into all of their shoe boxes to help the shoes fit perfectly. I didn't end up trying the fourth time to get shoes that would fit, however, I would highly recommend the shoes and the company that sells them.

Fit as expected
These are very comfortable. I like that they give extra insoles, my right foot is smaller than my left so having the extra insoles to place into my right shoe is a life saver.I’m sure I will buy more in different colors.

I can be active again!!
Wow! What a difference these shoes make. I had heel pain and it stopped me from doing the things I love to do. But I got these shoes along with some compression socks and now I can enjoy doing the things I love again. Give your feet time to adjust to the shoes, within 2 weeks I was able to enjoy things again! Worth the money!! Thank You Gravity Defyer!!!

Not true to UK size
Lovely trainers light, comfortable & supportive on try on. Only problem was they are imported from USA 🇺🇸 So sizing isn't quite true to size. I am normally a UK 5.5 - 6. I ordered a UK 6 but they came up tite in the length of the foot, so had to return. The next size up as come up an extra £40+ Due to the import. I cannot find another style I like better so I have reluctantly ordered them paying the extra. Also having to wait longer for them due to shipping.

Big for size
Beautiful shoe with excellent support. Look lovely. Big for size. I'm normally a 6 but even with the extra liners provided they were too big. Ordered a smaller size. The mormal fit is excellent for wide feet, don't order the wide fitting unless your feet are very wide.

Order half size bigger
My usual size is UK 5 but far too small so returned them. Hoping 5.5 will fit. Still too tight at the toes. Maybe going broader might help. As no room to put the thick insole into.

A must for anyone suffering with painful feet!
Great shoe, has helped my feet but the laces are just awful, you would think spending that amount of money the laces would be fit for purpose (am just about to purchase new laces), they just keep coming undone, even with a double knot, apart from that great, definitely size up, I am a size 7 got the 8, fit perfect, great shoe for anyone suffering with heel pain

Size not Accurate.
I ordered a size 6. However, the trainer was too small. The width was also small.My suggestion is to order a size bigger. I do believe the right sized trainer would be comfortable.
