This works really well on tough rust stains. We have a septic system at our cottage, and because it does not get regular everyday use, we had some bad rust staining from older equipment that has since been replaced. The problem is less severe now, but this product has helped us deal with the worst of the rust stains when milder cleaners were not enough. What I like: • It actually works on stubborn rust stains • One of the few products I have found that is marketed as septic safe and is still strong enough to handle bad rust • Helpful for older showers, tubs, sinks, or areas where rust has built up over time • A good product to keep on hand for problem spots • Useful when you need a clear before-and-after difference, not just light maintenance cleaning Things to be aware of: • This is not an everyday cleaner • It is still a very strong product, even though it is marketed as septic safe with normal use • I use it sparingly and save it for when nothing milder works • For bigger or tougher jobs, I prefer to spread the cleaning out instead of putting too much chemical into the system at one time • On bad shower or bath stains, I have sometimes blocked or taped off the drain and wiped the product up with old disposable rags or towels before throwing them away, so less goes down the drain • I would still read and follow the directions carefully, especially if you have a septic system or delicate surfaces Overall: This is one of those products I will always keep on hand, but I do not treat it like a regular cleaner. For tough rust stains where milder products are not working, it has been very effective and worth having available.

This stain remover got out all of the rust stains that Iron Out couldn’t. I squeezed this on my rusty stain, let it sit overnight and woke up to the entire stain gone! Not even a hint of rust remained. So happy I found this product. It saved my pants! 😁

I love this product. It works great. I use it at my home because I have hard water and heavy iron in my well water.

The only thing that gets rust out of toilets and bathtubs from the well water.

I'm not sure how this stuff works, but it DOES. Especially on lighter or white fabrics. Not only just on rust but all sorts of stains. From chocolate, makeup, new grease stains and food. It literally disappears almost instantly. For harder stains, I've let it sit a while and depending on the fabric it either all came out or almost completely. I've used it on shirts, jeans, curtains, shoes and shoe laces. Works well just make sure you follow directions.
