Sony LCS-U30 Soft Carrying Case for Camcorder - Black Large

I just picked up an Olympus OM-D E-M5, and was looking around for a bag that would fit the body, a few lenses, and some accessories. I took a guess at the dimensions and lucked out. It fits nearly perfect, with room for the 12-50, and 40-150 lense. You can pile more stuff on top and should fit with the HLD-6 (Battery Grip). Then you have all of the side pockets which can fit cables, charger, battery. And on the lid of the case itself there is some room for filters/cloths/mem-cards. The only thing I don't like, (But didn't look too close at the pictures I guess) is the shoulder strap is permanently attached. I typically don't carry my camera bag around with me while shooting, it's just meant to protect my gear while travelling. But for the price it's a nice case, fits all my gear and should keep it well protected. I'll add some pictures so people can get a better idea of what the U20 / Medium size bag can fit.

The "medium" size of this carrying case is the perfect size for my Sony NEX F3. In the main compartment, I can fit my NEX with its 18-55 lens and the neck strap connected, and an extra lens. In the side/top compartments, I can fit my charger, an extra battery, a lens pen, and filters. For those like me that appreciate a size comparison, the main compartment is large enough to hold a 1 pound bag of sugar (see uploaded pictures). For me, I wanted a camera bag for the following purposes (1) to protect my camera when transporting from place to place and (2) to keep the essentials all in one place so when I'm in a hurry, I can just grab one thing. This bag meets both of these purposes beautifully. Another handy thing is that it has a handle on the top and also a longer shoulder strap. Overall, I couldn't ask for anything more and consider this a great buy for the price.

So i read every review in here more or less and decided this was the bag for me. I recently bought a Sony Handycam Hdr-Hx 110, one of the smaller hd models out there. I took in to consideration all the reviews that said it was small and opted out of the smallest size. A smart move on my part but it would have been smarter to order the largest model available. Everything fits ie, the charger, hd cord, usb cord, compositecord, as well as room for an extra battery and a memory card, that's it. So it suits my needs, barley. Just get the bigger model. Quality is amazing and a great buy here on amazon. Sony has each case on there site for $10 more.

Beautiful, practical and well elaborated. It deserves to carry the Sony brand on it. I got LCS-U30 (for A65 gear) and LCS-U20 (for HX100V gear) and I'm very happy with them. In my case, this LCS-U30 has the right size for a Sony A65 with a SAL18250 lens (a bulky lens, indeed), enough small add-ons and filters but then, a second lens hardly fits in... it wouldn't happen if you have two or even three smaller lenses, it all depends... anyway, you'd always better get a bigger one than you think you're going to need, I could assure you that you'll desire more space for unexpected add-ons, additional gadgets or whatever, you never know...

This is a very sturdy, nice camera bag for my Sony FDR-AX700. The camera fits perfectly, there is *just* enough room for my ZOOM recorded to lay on top. Three zippered compartments can hold thin items, I have the camera power cord and extra SD cards. It's exactly what I was looking for, since I travel with this camera in my backpack carry-on. If you are looking for a camera case that will hold your camera and a lot of other gear - just know that this isn't your case. I think the item description makes that clear, but want to make sure that's emphasized here. This is exactly what I was looking for and it works great. Highly recommend.

All relatively well. I would have liked the side pocket to fit the longer cable more easily or have a little bit more room inside (width and depth rather than height) but it's a great case overall. It's awesome to have a case for all your video camera needs rather than all over the place. Only thing this wouldn't fit is obviously a tripod. If I had a MiniDV Camera I would get something larger but for SDXC Card based cameras it's perfect.

So, I got the bag a week early, so the service was excellent. The bag is just big enough for my handycam HDR-CX12 and 3 extra lenses, as well as extra battery, my cybershot and a microphone. All my gear fits into this one medium sized bag. The only thing I don't like about the bag is that the shoulder strap is not removable, but it's OK. I still have room for more items in my bag, like my charger and cables. I'm extremely happy with the size and look of this bag. My last camera bag was stolen and this is the replacement bag. I will be carrying this with me everywhere instead of leaving it in the car. I've worn this on a few outings already and it has proven itself to be comfortable to wear and carry as well as handy to carry all my gear.
