Good Item, Expensive Price
I dont know if there's something wrong with the Butterfly brand or if i got a bad batch, but I made some ube doughnuts with that brand and thr ube flavor wasnt that strong, but when I used it to make a glaze, it was EXTREMELY bitter. I essentially had to do away with it and bought this to try to see if this was any better. In my opinion, the flavor is stronger and the taste isnt as bitter, but its extremely small and far more expensive for the size. A whole bottle did get me one batch of donuts, a batch of glaze and some ube brownies. The ube flavor is still a bit light for my liking but it is there, and I dont like that it uses artificial coloring, but I know its hard to get that pretty deep purple without it since, reading up on the Philipines and ube, even Filipinos are having a hard time being able to get ahold of actual ube to the point where a lot have never actually tasted it, and many dont know that there is ube with a deep color. Sending prayers to my Filipino sisters and brothers that they can reclaim their own yam again and won't be stuck with cheap imitations. But this does get the job done. Hopefully I can find it somewhere cheaper!!

Disheartening Experience with Ube Flavoring
Having a deep appreciation for the unique taste of ube, I was excited to incorporate this ube flavoring into my desserts. Regrettably, my enthusiasm was met with a series of disappointments. Inadequate Shipping and Handling: The initial issue was the shipping. The delivery took far longer than advertised, frustratingly arriving several weeks late. When the package did show up, it was in a pitiful state - severely dented and partly open, which was disheartening to see. Subpar Quality and Presentation: Unboxing further escalated my concerns. The bottle of ube flavoring was a far cry from its advertised image. It looked cheap and was not sealed properly, raising immediate doubts about its quality and the care taken in its production. It's challenging to trust a flavoring product when even the basic packaging standards aren't met. Flavor Far From Authentic: However, the most crucial disappointment was the flavor itself. Genuine ube has a distinctive, sweet, and earthy depth, but this product's taste was far from it. It had an overwhelmingly artificial, almost chemical-like sweetness, missing the natural, creamy essence of real ube. My attempts to use it in various recipes only led to an unpalatable, synthetic aftertaste, rather than enhancing the dishes with the desired ube flavor. Final Verdict: All in all, from the problematic and delayed shipping to the poor presentation and deeply unsatisfying artificial taste, this ube flavoring was a complete letdown. It failed to deliver the authentic and delightful ube experience I had hoped for. I regret this purchase and caution others against this product. It's a stark reminder that not all flavorings are created equal.

Stains
Nice purple but stains. Flavor and aroma is there.

Awesome but beware of staining!
This extract smells and tastes great, and just as I expected, will stain absolutely everything it touches. Mine arrived with one of the tops a tiny bit loose despite being well packaged, so there was a tiny leak, but I haven't removed any stars because of that as it seemed completely accidental and both bottles were individually wrapped with plastic on the top so the leak did not spread beyond the label of the one bottle. The color of the extract is gorgeous, SUPER purple! So far, I have only used it in pancakes just to test out how much to use to get a rich purple color, and a few drops is all it took. I am very happy with the quality of the extract so far and will be making ube cookies with it soon!

Great flavor for baking and desserts
This McCormick Ube Flavored Extract works perfectly for what I need. I used it to make ube‑flavored tiramisu, and it gives such a nice, rich aroma and color that fits exactly what I’m looking for. A little goes a long way, so these two bottles will last me quite a while. It’s easy to mix into batters, creams, and fillings, and it gives my homemade desserts that wonderful, distinct profile. I’m very happy with this purchase and will keep using it for more recipes.

Leakage
It was open or the lid was loose that’s why it leaked. Even though it was packed properly make sure to seal the lid properly to prevent leakage.
