Alpine SBV-10-WRA 10-Inch Subwoofer for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler with MRV-M500 Amplifier, Wire kit and bass knob

It seems to be a decently built product. However, the sound quality is not what I would have expected from an Alpine 10” sub. There is distortion at moderate volumes and the gain on the amp can’t be turned up more than halfway or it just sounds terrible. I am not listening to any music with heavy bass when this occurs.

2016 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara with premium factory control head but no factory subwoofer. The Jeep went from the worst sound system I’ve ever had, to the best. This thing thumps! My daughters sit in the Jeep in the driveway listening to their favorites, then beg me to let them drive the Jeep to school. Most bang for the buck from any purchase all year.
