UPDATE 2 after 8 months of use: Reliable goggles. Period. Despite the lack of power switch, and still not being able to see all edges of the screen clearly, they work every time I use them. The battery it came with is dead and hasn't been replaced. Not worth my time. Bought the 18650 pack and the cheap aluminum wires in it broke and I had to resolder everything. I still use it with that pack and it lasts a couple hours, but certainly not "all day" like Fatshark claims within the user manual for the 1800mAh battery.UPDATE: I'm dropping another star after using these goggles more. Mainly because of the POS battery they included with it. In the manual it says, "Large 1800mAh capacity pretty much lets you fly all day." Yeah, no, not at all. At factory display settings with a single receiver running, the 1800mAh battery they include lasts all of 90 minutes. Their claim simply isn't valid. Additionally, the pack occasionally failed to completely charge. I'll walk up to it after hours of charging, and the charge lights are on, but only 3 of them. Have to unplug and plug the charger back in for it to finish charging. Contacted Fatshark about it, and they want me to send it back to them for testing and repair, which will cost $5-10 to ship to them, then they'll ship it back to me for the same price, when the cost of the item is probably $5. The goggles, I'd understand sending them in, but the battery? Now I have to go buy another battery so I can get the one they included fixed and not be unable to fly for 2 weeks. It's just annoying.The screen looks great, though it messes with the aspect of HDMI video. The shell is the same as other Fatshark goggles. Bought them to use in a PC simulator before I buy a quad or wing. Took me forever to find a cable that would work with these. The first problem is that the mini HDMI port on the goggles is about 1mm into the case, which is too deep for some mini HDMI plugs. I ordered this lightweight HDMI cable which works perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CDMZDKEI can't seem to get rid of all blur at the edges, and I have perfect eyesight so I shouldn't need to swap diopters.What really disappoints me about this thing is the lack of switches. No power switch, no switch for the fan. Having two separate plugs is bizarre, though I'm guessing that's to isolate interference from the fan. Has a sticker on it that you MUST read the manual, but you look at the manual and there's no documentation for the little button that's on the fan plug. I have no idea what that button is for. Plus the goggle in the user manual isn't even the HDO. The entire manual was written in Word by someone who doesn't understand how to use shift+enter to avoid extra line space after a carriage return.Fatshark could do better, especially at this price. I've become more and more disappointed since I bought these goggles, and am dropping another star. No way is this a 5 star product, and I'm now questioning why all the pros use these goggles. Maybe they're paid to?

Weekend racer here. Goggles are great but mainly bought them as an upgrade and use my DomV3 as spares. I think its definitely an upgrade but it isnt a revelation as you would believe online. Id be just as fine using my previous goggles - but decided to treat myself.

Upgraded to these from Aomway commander v2.Given the price, I had high expectations for these goggles.My first impressions out of the box were great color but poor fit for my face.Over the next few weeks I guess you could say they began to grew on me. The fit is not perfect and takes me a few seconds to adjust them every time I pull my goggles down.The picture quality is definitely better, most noticably the colors. However it's hard to justify the cost difference.I seriously considered returning them but ended up keeping them because I found I really prefer the 4:3 screens because of the blurry edges I experienced with the 16:9.That said I'd probably have been pretty happy with a more affordable 4:3 goggle.

What a lousy user experience. The goggles came with a battery holder instead of the a usb rechargeable battery that was both listed and pictured. The battery size is not a size I can find easily locally.Update: The goggles have been working well, but hdmi does not work with my MacBook Pro. Wish there was an option to select aspect ratio when using with hdmi input. I did recieve a partial refund, but it did not cover the cost of batteries and a charger.
