## Description

Typical of Chinese furniture from the Ming period, this cabinet shows minimal decoration and clean, balanced lines, set off by the two brass lock-plates. Like our Low Kang Cabinet, this type of piece may have been placed in the central living space of the Chinese home and used to hold everyday items. Today it makes an ideal sideboard in the dining room, or use it for bedroom or living room storage with an understated oriental style. Made of reclaimed elm, with one removable shelf inside each compartment. Part of our Classical Chinese furniture range, handcrafted from reclaimed elm wood and available in a choice of warm elm or black lacquer. Other finishes and sizes can be made to order.
