Very nice product! It is not greasy and a little goes a long way. Was easy to manipulate my edges to go back down once they started to raise back up mid-day. Used a little to help define my curls and my hair was shiny all day.

I love this product.... It is only edge control that actually holds down the edges and is a great way to moisturize your hair after washing. It makes your hair super soft and pretty. It is the only hair product that can lay my daughters hair down into a ponytail.... When I use it people ask if I'm of mixed raced being that my hair looks so shiny and soft on the edge it even makes your have baby hair action without even trying... It works with all types of hair. I recommend this product to anyone who wants soft shiny hair

This product doesn’t leave my hair greasy. It last a good amount of time, about 4 hours . I sweat a lot so that’s a good amount of time for me. It’s natural so I don’t have to worry about my face breaking out, my skin is super sensitive.

I actually love the Virgin Lacquer Gel Pomade by The Roots Naturelle. Though I have not finish my first gel pomade, I brought a second pomade because I did not want to run out.I love that this gel smoothes my edges without me a having a perm. It is not flaky and it holds well. It is well worth the money. I have even shared with my friends who wear their hair natural. I appreciate this product and will definitely be ordering more in the near future.

So the reason for me repurchasing is because this by far was the only edge control that I used that didn't turn white and flake. Now the staying power is decent but now this pomade turns white and flakes a little. It didn't happen last time, could it be that this was a bad batch?

Okay so I assumed some of these reviews were fake because they said they were sent this product for free.. but I literally just used this on my type 4 edges and this is my new HOLY GRAIL it actually holds my edges while giving them shine :) I plan on ordering more and I paid for this with my own money.

So this edge control is the truth... A little goes a long way and it does exactly what it says it is supposed to do. NO FLAKES NO BUILD UP. Now I am not someone that slathers on a ton of edge control, I just use it to keep my edges laid and my fly aways in check. Also, the amount of edge control you actually get is dope. I feel like I will have this for over a year... LOL Anway, its the truth because I wear buns EVERYDAY to work... :)
