Exactly how it was described.
I had purchased a used Ibanez bass and amp, but the amp didn't have a power cord for it. I didn't pay attention to the polarity needed and purchased a center pin positive power cord when I needed a negative center one. I was looking for a negative center pin plug when I came across this Belkin adapter and figured it was worth a shot for less than half price of the cheaper power cords. It works perfect and the amp powered right up and works great.

Handy to have reverse polarity adapter
bought this "Belker 5.5 x 2.1mm Jack Reverse Polarity Converter Cable Universal AC Power Adapters Max. Support 3A 3000mA" to make the Universal power supply truly universal for reverse polarity devices.

Works but there is a cosmetic difference
I used the cable and it works as advertised. Snug fig and it did reverse the polarity. My only complaint is the male end is BLUE not YELLOW, as in the picture. That is the only reason for 4 stars. I opted for this unit verses one that was $1.50 cheaper because the less expensive male end was black. My power supply is yellow. For consistency, and thinking maybe the black one may be inferior, I bought this one. I guess there is no consistency in color coding of plug sizes.

This is a handy Power Adapter
This Adapter will allow you to power pin-positive 5v from a usbA power source. Really makes powering low voltage dc devices from a power bank. I'm using mine to power a portable Pyle 4cuannel mixing board from a USB port on my Energy Cube.Works perfectly!
