Amazing value
This balm is excellent, far better than many twice the price. The scent is great, a real cologne smell that I'd happily have on its own. The scent also lasts all day, better than any essential oil blend. The balm has a solid consistency but liquefies instantly. It's a touch greasy in hand after application but no problem. It does a good job of softening the beard, hold isn't super strong but is enough for my beard. All in all a mega value product.

A great go to cheap balm
I will be totally honest, I have used much better balms. However for a 100g tin at £8.99 (with Amazon discount) this stuff is amazing. the scent is masculine which is a mix amber and tobacco. the texture is very firm, hard to break into the balm first time around, but work it into your hands and the bees wax element soon melts and it glides onto your beard. I used this today and it kept my 4 inch long beard in great shape all day. for the first hour or so it did feel a little greasy but that wore off as it dried out more on my beard. now at the end of the bay my beard feels great well conditioned and soft like I said there are better but for the money this stuff is amazing.

Great value, and overall best product of its type I have used.
I've had very mixed results with beard balms, waxes and oils. I've got quite a scraggly beard and, quite frankly, I've not found a single product that magically transforms my beard into the beautifully kempt ideal you see in the photos for these things. What I will say is this product does a respectable job of it, and does manage to bring some order to the chaos. It's very thick and, despite being advertised as a balm, works about as well as any wax product does.It has a pleasant, but gentle fragrance that dissipates quickly (a benefit in my book - I'm not convinced other people want to smell a pungently soapy beard that often results from using balms and waxes).By far and away the best thing about this product is its value for money: you get about twice as much of it for the same price as other similar products, making it the clear favourite in my book.

The Best Beard Balm.. but out of stock?
This is the best beard balm I have used, I have tried a lot of different brands and I even rate it higher than everyone's favourite Honest Amish. It has the perfect hold (not too much not too little) Keeps the beard really soft, great scent and no irritation. Exceptionally easy to work with as well. Sad to see its no longer available however and wondering when it may be back?

Just needs a better consistency!
As you will see from my photo, the biggest problem for me was that I could not dissolve the beard balm into a usable paste! I have a really long beard which I've kept and maintained for many many years so I've used many beard oils and beard balms over the years. This has the potential to be a really good beard balm if they get the consistency right. I won't name a competitor but they need to look at how the beard balm rubs into the palm of your hand. I loved the smell (4 stars) and the quantity is the best value for money I have seen on Amazon (hats off to you guys on that front - 4 stars). However, a beard balm should be easy to use. Not only was it really tough get a large thumb nail portion out of the tin but then it should be a short rub of the hands and ready to go into the beard. Unfortunately, this was not easy to use thus the 1-star for Easy to use!Let me know if you guys tweak the formula and I'd be more than willing to give it a go again as I think you have a product that can compete with the best on Amazon!thanks

In need of people to kiss me
I have tried other beard balms and this is by far the best. It is no where near as greasy as other brands, so you don’t leave Exon Valdez’s oil slicks on everything you touch for the next 24 hours after touching your beard. It does require more working in your hands before application, but this time is recouped by only having to wash you hands twice after use. The smell is present, not overpowering in the slightest and my beard is much less straggley and much softer. As for the claim it will make my beard more kissable I’ll have to get back to you on that one, one I find some willing experimental subjects.

Smells delightful and seems to spread evenly.
Has a distinct scent that is strong but not overpowering. Old aftershaves come to mind.Spreads easily when warmed up in hands, initially has grainy texture reminiscent of solidified coconut oil, soon melts though. Can give a greasy look if too much is used though to a much less forgiving extent compared to other balms I have used.Softens hairs very well but I wouldn't say it has much impact on hold so if that is your main intent it will not be of any use to you.Overall very impressed for the price.

A good balm, nicely scented but slightly gritty
I've only just started using balm despite having a beard for about 50 years. This is the 3rd I've tried and I prefer this scent to the other 2 (cedarwood and sandalwood) and is less greasy than the others, but when rubbing it into my palm it has a gritty feel as though something has crystallised. It still seems to mix in Ok and is not noticeable on the beard. Washes off the hands easily.
