Like the crimper. The wire cutters however has its downfall. Cut real nicely for 25 cuts. From that point on, cuts we're terrible. Wire fraying and making it impossible to insert ss wire into fittings. Job wasn't finished. I had to grind every cut (after number 25) on a grinding wheel to save the cables and finish the job. VERY dissatisfied with the cutter. Crimper..... worked well. (I did however make a wooden jig to hold it in place as I used it)

Works fine enough for my intended purpose. Can get quite tiring squeezing the handle. Would be better if it was longer so leverage could be your friend. Box is not great for keeping end pieces organized as they just fall out of intended spaces. Bought to use for one job of wire railing.

I used the crimper to install cable railing around my deck. I ended up making about 150 crimps on the cable ends with the 4mm dies by the time I was done. It worked flawlessly on every on of these crimps.As for the included accessories, the cable cutters worked fine except the rubber coating on the handles cracked within the first few crimps. The "work gloves" were a joke, cotton or some other light fabric with tiny silicon dots embedded.

I had to crimp a fairly heavy-duty stainless steel Railing cable tensioner which came loose due to poor crimping (which also broke a pair of my heavy duty cable crimpers).. This crimper worked very well and came with an assortment of different sized inserts. It was effortless and easy to use. It did the job perfectly. I would highly recommend it for this use.Then it broke on second use :(

The hydraulic crimper did a very good job of crimping the SS316 stainless steel cable fittings. It took some force, not outrageous, to crimp down to where the #4 dies closed against each other. (I'm 73 years old, 165 pounds, reasonably fit.) I saw no loss of function over the 30 fittings I had to crimp, 3 crimps per fitting. The only problem I experienced was some of the fittings got slightly bent in the crimping process. It was fairly easy to straighten them adequately with lock jaw pliers and vice grips; I wrapped the jaws of both with duct tape to avoid scratching the fittings. The cable cutter also worked well. As with the crimper I saw no loss of function over the course of thirty 1/8" SS cable cuts. Yes, it takes some hand strength. But one hand did the job just fine. Good quality tools at a good price.

The quality of the product and easy in using it. The problem was it would not crimp correctly forour last ten runs cable runs we needed

I bought this because I needed to hang several industrial sized banners using 1/8 inch cable wiring. This cut and crimped the wiring like butter. It made the job so easy.I appreciate that the kit came with everything that I needed. Even down to the gloves. The case latch is nicely so the entire kit stays secure and in one place.The crimper even has its own little lock that you can put on it for safety reasons. I like to keep all my tools locked to prevent my grandson from hurting himself. He tries to help me occasionally and this prevents any accidents from happening.
