Get off your Tush and buy a Tushi
All I wanted was a simple step and sleep monitor, so I asked around in the gym for recommendations.Mostly, I found out what *not* to buy.No “smart” watches, no over-priced “name" brands and nothing that required an engineering degree to use was the main advice received.Research on line, and a limited budget, brought me to the Tushi. From the comments it seemed as if getting it set up might be a problem, but the customer service in helping people get started appeared to be outstanding. My Tushi arrived in two days, and I downloaded the app to my iPhone and iPad. Set everything up as per the directions and . . . nothing happened. After several emails were exchanged, it appeared that the connector cord to power the unit wasn’t functioning properly. A replacement arrived quickly and solved the problem. The Tushi does exactly as promised. It is unobtrusive, basic and fills all my needs at a reasonable price.Add outstanding customer service to the list and you can’t go wrong with a Tushi!

Decent tracker for the price, but can still use some improvements.
EDIT 7/5/15:After about 3 weeks the OLED screen is flashing/flickering. I never took this device in the shower or exposed it to water in any fashion. My only conclusion is a defective unit, cheaply made.Sent back for refund and off to see if there is another tracker for me to try.Let me preface this entire review by stating that I own, have owned, several trackers: Basis H1, Fitbit flex, Misfit Flash and Withings...so I have a lot of data to compare with here.Overall, I place this as my 2nd favorite behind the Fitbit...the reason this doesn't take 1st place is the partner app for smartphones. One of the major headaches is the settings menu that alters between imperial and metric systems...even if you choose imperial. For example, I tell it I want imperial measurements, but it still requires my weight and stride in metric (kg and cm). Not huge, but come on. Certainly an easy fix.I also don't like the fact that I have to manually sync the device. Again, my Fitbit and others would do that throughout the day without having to manually do it. The sync order is kind of odd. Wake up the Tushi by pushing the button, then go to your app and hit sync. If you hit sync first in the app and don't wake up the Tushi, it's a no go.I loved how my Misfit and Basis Health knew when I went to sleep. I didn't have to anything to tell it to go into sleep mode like the Fitbit and now this device. I have to hold the button down for 3s to tell it to go into sleep mode. While it may not be a big deal, it is hard to remember to do that when you've had other units that don't require you to do anything other than to go to sleep.I love the alarms, 4 separate ones can be set. I also love the "hey, get off your butt and exercise" feature that you can customize based on how many minutes you want of inactivity before you are reminded to "get off your butt".The band seems durable which is a plus over the Misfit Flash which broke in under 60 days.Overall, worth the purchase in hopes of some software upgrades to come.

Maybe I just received one that does not work correctly
Pros: watch, date, steps taken, alarm.Cons: only tells you how many calories you burned as you are walking. In a day, I can walk 2 miles and only burn 200 calories at the end of the day.My body media, did a better job of calories burned, and if I did weights, It showed the increase in calories burned, so I could go from 1 calorie per minute to 6 calories per minute. Problem was, it had to go on my arm around the triceps and I was allergic to the metal.Switched to the jawbone24. I kind of loved it, as it gave great information, but I had to go to my phone app to see how I was doing. The mainproblem: It quit after 6 months. Ths tushi looks pretty good, but it really isn't what it is advertised to be, or I may have one that does not work.First, The company may be in AZ, so it leaves you to believe it is made in USA. It is made in China.I can't get the night/sleep mode to tell me how I slept. It only will tell you steps for the day (it will convert to miles) and will only show how many calories you have burned when walking, even if youjog, it does not show increase in calories burned per minute. Does no register any calories if you are doing yoga or weightsThere is no website or phone number to call, maybe mine is just not working.

Very disappointed!
I wrote the review below regarding my fitness tracker not charging and said I was very unhappy. I got in touch with the company and hours later John was in touch with me and said it was still under warranty and immediately sent me a new one. I am very impressed and turned out I am very satisfied with the company and their quick action on the issue. Thank you Tushi! After writing an excellent review on this tracker that I bought Feb. I haven't worn it for a few months and went to charge it has nothing on it when I charge it but a bunch of little dots. No numbers or anything, just what looks like a bunch of dots. I bought this when it first came out and paid $80.00 for it. I have to say I am not real happy.

Lacking in durability, calorie counting suspect.
Eh. Man, I really wanted to like this product. It worked prettty well for the first week I had it, although I think it doesn't calculate calories accurately at times. I do Insanity workouts all the time and they typically burn 400-600 calories, but the Tushi recorded only 145 for one of the second month workouts (60 minutes plus). That can't be right.I bought one to keep track of my daily activity, specifically because I wanted to see how many calories I burn while playing dodgeball. It seemed to function pretty well (calorie issue notwithstanding), but shortly after a two hour playing session, the lights on the device shorted out and while they came back on later, they regularly would short out and become unreadable. Now, it won't turn back on. I tried charging it, but it doesn't seem to be a battery issue. Not sure if I got a faulty model, but I was pretty disappointed by its durability/performance. Again, I really wanted this to work, but if it can't stand up to the rigors of intense workouts, I can't recommend this product.
