Willow Tree The Quilt, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure

Got this piece for my mother in laws 60th birthday. She has been a Willow Tree collector for years and loves each piece. Each and every one of these pieces has so much emotion and meaning, I wanted something special for her birthday and saw this. I immediately knew this would be such a lovely gift and it would mean so much for her. I of course had to see it myself when it arrived (very quickly and safely by the way!). My mama also has collected these since I was born. Let me tell you, the pictures are lovely but they do not show how truly beautiful The Quilt is. Each stitch, the coloring, the beauty is simply stunning. I’m not a mama yet but I hope to be, and seeing how close and gentle the child is held and how snuggled up they are genuinely brought tears to my eyes (yes I’m very emotional LOL)! This is a wonderful piece to anyone’s collection whether you are a long time fan or just starting. The value that of that pure emotion and light it brings. Plus, I’d rather have wonderful pieces like this in my home (for such a good price!) than any wall art.

My daughter became a grandmother and was married this year. I purchased the Willow Tree figurine for her birthday and had it on a shelf watching the wedding.

My mom collects these and it was the perfect gift for her new role as Nana. She loves rocking her grandbaby to sleep and this obviously perfectly embodies that. Love!

I bought this Willow Tree for my sister as she has a collection of willow trees and she really loved it. She did not have The Quilt and she had been wanting it. The figuerine is a wonderful addition to her collection and one that she will cherish for years to come. The figuerine is really beautiful, the picture of the grandmother or mother rocking her baby gently with so much love is very moving. You see and feel the love in that warm embrace and is so touching like everything is alright in the world because Mom is holding you. I lost my Mom many years ago but I remember her holding me and rocking me and knowing that I was loved. Brings very good memories. This is a wonderful present for a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt. I give it 5 stars and would buy fro this vendor again. Thank you.

The figurine is lovely... evocative and beautiful. However - Amazon is going too far with trying to pack items in lighter packaging. It arrived in a paper bag with no padding it at all. Not nearly good enough for a fragile item!!!
