Hex Rubber Coated Dumbbells Rock!
Love my 20 pound hex rubber coated dumbbells! I love the heavy ness of the weights, the rubber coating on the sides and how soft theya re one placing them down and how nice the metal handles with grippy parts feel! I would never again buy any neoprane weights as I had in the past! Only hex rubber coated kinds for me from now on!

Very Well Made
Not much to go wrong with the design of dumbbells, but these dumbbells deserve a thumbs up. They are nicely finished and have a great grip. Would highly recommend them if you're in the market for rubber hex dumbbells.

Good weights, and safe, but boy do they stink!
A good set of dumbbell weights - my home scale proves they are the correct weight, and I really like that they rubberized so that I can place them back on my rug without worrying about them making too much noise, or denting the hardwood floors underneath. I took one star away because of the intensely strong rubber smell that persisted for weeks. I actually had to store them in our garage in between uses because the rubber stink would envelop my bedroom. I even washed & scrubbed them. After approximately 3 weeks, the smell was weak enough to put them back in my bedroom. If you get close you can still smell it, but it doesn't stink up the room anymore.

Good for any type of floor.
I used this set on a rug on top of an engineered wood floor. I was concerned about the rubber leaving black marks on the floor that I couldn't remove. I try and not scoot them at all but sometimes it happens. It has to be a "hard scoot" to leave a mark, but when it does leave a mark it comes up really easy. The dumbbell themselves look great and are comfortable to use. i would recommend this product.

Handle and feel are nice, But…
The weight & grip feel good but it left a black smudge mark on a pale colored carpet.
