Best thing I ever used for mouth ulcer /canker sores. I got complete pain relief almost immediately. Recommend this to anyone with this problem.

I've used other Bonjela products (gels) and this uses a different medication than the usual gel. It forms a film like kenalog orabse used to do....and it seems to do a good job.

It works very good for it's purpose. I didn't know the brend, someone else told me about and I tried! It is really good!

incredible stuff. yes it tastes gross for a while and yes it leaves a big old white mark wherever you put it but if you're in a lot of pain from an ulcer then this is very minor. i had exam and out of nerves have been chewing my cheeks which resulted in a very large and incredibly painful ulcer right next to my bottom teeth. consequently i couldn't speak, eat or do much to be honest. i've had this before and ordered again. simply do a salt gargle before and clean your hands before you start pulling and poking about.quickly breath in to dry off the ulcer, take the applicator (i like to coat it well so that i have a good cover) and pull out your lip/cheek or wherever your ulcer is so that it is accessible and you can hold that til it dries. simply slide over the applicator making sure you deposit enough. swiping back and forth will cause more pain and not so great application. yes, it will burn and sting, i had me in tears considering the size of my ulcer. however, once you see the white coat form you can let your cheek go. if needs be put on a second coat.and voila, i can smile, eat, talk again. truly magical stuff and a life saver to those who regularly get ulcers/ get painful ulcers. not really sure what the people who left negative comments were doing wrong since for me this stuff is amazing. key tips to make sure it works well for you = salt gargle to clean away anything stuck in/around it, breath and dry the application area before applying, pull out your gum to an accessible point so that it can dry without disturbance of touching teeth, apply good amount and all over (mine most times will go outside just the ulcer - to be safe and make sure i got it all), MAKE SURE you let it dry (white coating) before letting your lip/cheek return to normal and do a second coat if you think necessary. and yes it'll taste gross for a bit, and it will be quite painful to apply.

Best product for canker sores and the only one I use! Immediate pain relief, especially right before eating. It helps tremendously!

This product is amazing. I was a bit sceptical about this product until I read one of the other indepth reviews, so then I decided to try it.After having bone grafting on my jaw and some intense work done on my teeth I was left with some ulcers which were so big it was painful. One of the ulcers was 1cm in diameter and the biggest I've had in my life. So as you can imagine being an open wound it was going to be sore and cause a lot of discomfort, so much so, that I hadn't eaten for 4 days.After putting this product on (very easy and quick to use and it adhered well) I had an intese discomfort for a few seconds but it quickly eased as quick as it started. I won't lie, it was like rubbing vinegar in an open wound. It was worth the intense pain for a few seconds to get the relief for so long. It's so worth the seconds of pain for the hours relief it bought and it also meant I could eat again, huge bonus! I used it again just now as its so good.Overall its a great product for mouth ulcers and I can't recommend it enough. Its worth every penny and more.

I used this at the weekend when I bit my tongue in my sleep. The following morning prior to using this my tongue was painful and swollen and it hurt to eat and talk. I used this alongside salt bathing and within 24 hours it was almost pain free and I was no longer slurring. It does taste awful at first and it is quite difficult to apply, I tend to try and dry the area before applying and then waft it dry for as long as I can stand holding my tongue out of my mouth. It still sometimes seems to come off a bit but holds enough to help a bit and you can always go back and build it up a bit with further applications.
