Soy Wax 50 lb, Ivory, Unscented, Perfect for Candle Making

This is a lovely container wax. It melts very easily, one pound in the microwave takes about 5 minutes to melt completely. I let it cool down to about 130 to add my colorant and fragrance oil. Pouring at about 115 to 120 degrees F. Left alone it will solidify depending on your ambient temperature in just a few hours, though I usually wait overnight. Rarely in tin containers do I have trouble with pitting or wax gaps, the top is always has a lovely glossy sheen. When burning, these candles last a long time. I have clients who comment about the length of time each candle takes to burn completely, there is no black soot left on the walls and how lovely the burn is.Over the years I've tried various waxes and have found this is my all around favorite wax. I am sure it will be yours as well. I highly recommend this wax!

When you want to make candles, and I mean a lot of candles, buying 50 pounds of wax is the way to go. As far as the wax quality goes, it is top notch. Melts great with no impurities. This is a great wax and usually cheaper with Amazon prime, than from any bulk candle supply website. I have been using this wax for about 2 years with no issues. I heat it to 185 degrees, add fragrance, cool to around 130 and pour into preheated jars. When used correctly, I would consider it a one pour wax, however, I am a perfectionist and always use a heat gun after the candles have cooled to achieve perfectly smooth tops.

No natural scent which is perfect if your adding your own. It may sound strange, because 100% natural soy wax is exactly that but there are some that don’t melt well and this wax Golden Brands 444 melts and hardens really well. The 50lb option comes in a thick plastic bag inside of a box as expected and holds up well. The smaller amounts ordered for a quality check came in nice resealable bags if you don’t need as much and needs to re-seal.

I love this wax in every way. Great candle making and I use for melts too. Great fragrance throw, hot or cold.

My candles cracked and had a lot of sink holes. Waste of money...no instructions sent on how to use the wax. Went online and tried to figure it out, because I ordered 50 lbs. Very poor customer service too!!!

i make candles and this is my first time using 444. i find heating to 185 and adding scent and color than pouring around 105 works best for me! especially since i am using glass, pouring cold seems to help with adhesion.
