Does exactilly whats its supposed to.
I bought this Item for use in Afghanistan to power a small amount of music for my littel room hear. I am a soldier hear and will only be hear for a year. I needed somethign cheep that woudl work for what I needed it to. After using this item for a couple months i was surprised how it performed. i hook it up to my laptop via a headfphone jack to rca inputs. Its hooked up to big and small speekers. sounds amazing! The BEST thing about this item, is the two mic inputes. We do not have access to much hear in afgahnistan but we make do the best we can. A friend of mine bought an electric drum set and plugged it in to this and rocked out! it was great! Another buddy plugged in a 3/4 electric guitar and jammed for hours! it was great! I ordered a cheep bass guyitar and plugged that in and play everyday. everythign works great! never over heats and performs like a champ everytime! and even better I can play music from my laptop and play along with it with my bass, the drums, or the guitar, and all the sounds comes out great! i would recomend this unit to anyone looking for an inexpensive reciever that will dp way more than just power some speekers for music.

Great little receiver/amp
Just received this Pyle Pro receiver/amp and got to say I'm impressed. First the box it was in look like it had been through a war zone, even the post office put the tape on it received in damaged condition. So got it out looked at it and did not see any damage to the unit, so hook it up and wow it sounds great. Have a set of Kenwood speakers(KL-777A 4 way speakers 110 watts) that flew with me over the pond. They are big made in 1972 pick them up in Guam and brought them back to Barksdale AF Base then to FL. Lighting took out everything else but these speakers. They take a lot to move them, this little Pyle Pro (PT260A) will move them and will make your ears hurt. Can't wait till I get some more wire and hook up the big TV I got to it. You won't go wrong on getting this little unit. Save lots of money and get a great sounding unit. Just have some good big speakers so they will handle the watts.

Works nicely
The unit I received does not have AUX RCA inputs jacks as described and shown. There are only IPOD/MP3 and CD/DVD jacks. Also it has Bluetooth and USB input, which it was not supposed to have. 4 of the buttons on the remote control are labeled differently than as shown. I am using with my cable box for tv, so I hooked up my cable box to the IPOD/MP3 jacks expecting it to work, and it does. Why did Pyle eliminate a set of jacks? Also, why didn't Pyle label it AUX, as it can be used for anything, which less experienced users might not figure out? As others have said, the instruction book is pretty useless. It doesn't even say what version of Bluetooth it has. I paired my phone and installed the Pyle audio app, but still haven't gotten it to work with the Bluetooth. Also as others have said, the remote does not turn unit off and on and when you first turn it on, the volume is loud (20 db) instead of the volume last set at. Using it to listen to TV through the cable box, it is working as it should. I am generally pleased with it. It is capable of getting much louder than I need (I have not turned the volume to maximum, as I don’t want to risk damaging my little speakers).

Great coice for a two channel
I bought this reciever for my work radio currently it being summer it can get to a 118 degrees inside my work . That being said this thing has been a trooper I use It 8 to 10 hours a day and I have it hooked to a set of sony 8 inch bookshelf speakers. All my coworkers always wondering whear I got it . I have had it for two months now and have only good things to say . If your wanting good sound for a cheap price . It doesent have all the thousands of features that a high end sony has but for a radio that has the features of this one in a sony you would pay twice as much trust me I looked around a lot before getting this one for less than 200 bucks I have an amazing sterio that I got to pair whith the speakers I wanted not what somebody else chose to put in a kit I am verry pleased whith this one buy it.

do not buy!
Poor reception, even with an added 54" FM antenna 12 feet higher in my attic. AM = ok, FM = marginal, FM stereo = un-listenable. I'm 15 miles from Chicago & FM stereo receprion is poor at best. I tried different speakers, various antennas & placement, various locations of the unit, nothing helped. Other receivers in the same location/speakers/antenna worked just fine. Remote has no on/off button. The inputs (CD, tape) work fine and are plenty loud, so to use as an inexpensive amplifier is OK, just don't plan on listening to any radio stations. I wanted an inexpensive receiver amp for my garage and it cost me many hours of fiddling & frustration. Spend another $20 and get a decent unit.

Make sure you can live with the irritants...
Understand what you're getting... First of all, the fact that it can power two channels of audio doesn't mean that you can select which one you can play audio out of. You cannot. If you plug in speakers on both channels, it plays on both channels. There is no selectivity. The whole reason I bought this was to play on an indoor set of speakers and occasionally play the same music on an outdoor set of speaker, so the A/B had to be selectable. Unfortunately, this receiver does not work for that. This is why I will be returning it. The advertisement clearly sets it has A and B channels, which in more receivers means that you can select between them... oh, well... Secondly, as reported by others, there is no power control from the remote control. I had planned on putting this receiver out of the way and controlling everything from the remote via a IR extender. Unfortunately, without a power button on the remote, I can't realistically do that. Third, while you can select the programmed radio channels via the remote control, you cannot directly tune via the remote control. For those who already know what channels they want to program, this can be annoying, since the only option is to scan through the spectrum till you find the right channel, then program it. "Irritating" is about the only word for it. The sound is fine, but there are too many detractors for me to recommend it to anyone except for those who need a basic system within arms reach and who have a lot of patience for the irritants.

Great Deal; Don't Hesitate
This is a great deal. I recommend it highly. The only drawbacks are that you don't get an input for a headphone jack (just 2 inputs for microphones). You get an input for CD/DVD and Auxillary and you can also play your IPOD/MPG3 on it, so everything goes. The AM antenna isn't so easy to hook up but the FM works great with your own antenna. Also on my particular unit, the input selector button doesn't always work but the remote does it anyway, so no big deal. Overall, great sound, 200 watts for great money. If they only had such a deal when I was younger and I could get away with blasting my stereo.
