Q: I have a t56 out of an 01 cobra will this fit with a 5.3?

NO this bell will fit the trans and engine but the depth of the bell will be wrong. The input on your trans will be to short to reach the crank.

Q: Will this mate a 2000 5.3 Liter and t56 magnum ?

The bell housing will bolt up to a 5.3. You must have the correct face plate and input shaft for the magnum to bolt up to the bell housing. If you don’t have these, you want the ls1 input shaft and face plate from that t56 being out of camaro or firebird 1998-2001

Q: What starter needs to be used with this bell housing? GTO stater won't work

I used a Ls1 starter for a 2001 camaro had no trouble
