1 Is One (Classic Board Books)

I love that this book goes to 20! Note: the hardcover book is a board book. It was a little wonky because there are so many pages but it’ll do the job

I bought this book for my two year old granddaughter. The pictures are beautifully done and the book is very quaint and sweet in an old fashioned way. My one disappointment is that half of the pictures are in black and white. A child loves to see colors and the pictures that are in color are beautiful and would get a child's attention. Why is half of the book in black and white? Was it to save money for the printer?

I didn't know who Tasha Tudor was until this book was gifted to our child, but now I'm hooked. The illustrations are beautiful and the text flows wonderfully. It's a great way for kids to learn their numbers and a variety of objects.

She loved that she could turn the pages for me while I read it to her. I loved the classic illustrations. I think this will be a keepsake for a long time!

It’s sturdy, beautiful and love simplicity! Love anything from Tasha Turdor! For my new granddaughter she can look at it.

子どもに数字を教えるような絵本はたくさん買ったり読ませたりしましたが、この本のように古きよきアメリカの自然に根づいた生活観がにじみ出ている本は滅多にありません。作者であるターシャテューダーは４人の子どもを育てるために絵本を書き始めたそうです。まさに母親が子どもに手作りの本を作ったという雰囲気と、独特のアートの世界が思わず読み聞かせる親を幸せな気分にする、そんな本です。ただし、多少女の子向きかなという雰囲気はあります。うちの子どもは男の子なので、何度か読むと多少飽きてしまったようです。年齢は３歳後半ぐらいから読み聞かせることができるでしょう。一つ残念なのは、１ページおきにフルカラーとモノクロ印刷になっていることです。ハードカバーの本の印刷やクオリティは文句なしで、よく邦訳された絵本がリプリントのために絵柄が色あせていたり、ドットやかすれが目立つ絵になってしまっていたりしますが、洋書版はそういったことは一切ありません。それだけに全ページカラーであってほしいというのは読者の欲張りでしょうか？

A riqueza, delicadeza e beleza das ilustrações é um show à parte. Todas as páginas são lidas, e a edição intercala ilustrações coloridas com preto e brancas (desenho a lápis).As rimas são ótimas, tornando a leitura mais fluída.A qualidade da cartonagem é boa, e surpreende pela quantidade de páginas. Amei!
