Excellent torch for rusted and seized fasteners
I donโt normally leave reviews, but this torch impressed me enough to write one. I bought it to remove severely rusted exhaust flange nuts on my truck after other methods failed. Compared to the induction heater I tried, this worked far better. The torch got the nuts and bolts cherry red very quickly, which made removal much easier. The torch was easy to assemble, lit reliably, and produced a concentrated flame with plenty of heat. I was also surprised by how long the oxygen cylinder lastedโI completed my repair and still have oxygen left in my first tank. My recommendation is to spend a few minutes watching some YouTube videos on proper setup and flame adjustment before using it. Once you understand how to adjust the torch correctly, it works extremely well. If youโre dealing with rusted exhaust hardware, seized bolts, or other stubborn fasteners, this torch is absolutely worth it. It saved me a lot of time and frustration. Highly recommended.

Works Great!
So far so good. I bought this to braze HVAC lines on my new AC unit and it worked perfectly. I haven't run into adjustment issues yet. I've found the oxygen knob to work great and not to be overly sensitive at all, unlike some other's have reported. The compact size is awesome for working in tight conditions like a crawl space!

Cheap and poor quality product!!!
So...the unit arrived and immediately after I connected the gas tank (MAP gas) and lossened the main valve to charge the gas line the entire valve unscrewed. I had to immediately disconnect the MAP gas tank to get control of the leak. I was on a job so I had to get the unit working properly. A thin walled 10mm open end wrench, 1/2 a drop of red thread lock and approximately 15-20 newtons of torque seems to be the fix for the gas valve backing out when you unscrew the main valve for gas flow. I have very little confidence with this product (between the valve completely unscrewing, and the repairing red thred lock possibly locking up the schrader valve) and plan to order a better unit from a better supplier. My recommendation is "Not to Buy this unit!" I happened to be prepared to make the onsite repair, but you shouldn't have to do this with a new product!!!

Good
Its good, but the tip needs to be angled more, and the nobs are way too sensitive, I like barely tap it and it puts my flame out or turns it into a flame thrower, also idk why every complains about the oxygen lasting 10 mins, you all must be using too much becayse i got 5 bottles and been going for a hour now and still aint out of oxygen

Just what I was after
I wasn't looking for a rig for serious steel welding - read my review accordingly. I was looking to fuse some heavy-gauge (10ga) non-ferrous metal beyond the capacity of my usual propane-air torch. They might generate high enough temperatures, but the metal sucked the heat away from the joint too fast for fusion. This does the job just fine. I had been having trouble finishing the ends of 10ga wire work. The usual findings weren't cutting it, the shapes are too uneven to make fabricated findings work well, and I'm just not nuts about using glue in these things - a nice, solid cold join like a rivet give me more sense of commanding the craft, but would have been difficult to apply, if even possible. A fused end seemed ideal, and a light-duty oxy-gas rig seemed like the tool of choice. Early results are all good. And, compared to the Smith Little Torch (a different tool for different jobs), the tank caddy is a Caddy, compared to the Smith's Volkswagen. That said, I have to agree with some of the negative reviews. Yes, the disposable oxy tanks have limited working life (and high price), but don't blame this tool Yes, the oxy valve is fussy: I turn and turn and turn and get nothing, then all of a sudden, way too much. A little practice with it and a light touch will get the result you want. Yes, it's not easy to screw the oxy tank onto the valve, but I think I was fighting the first release of pressure when the valve got into the tank ahead of the tank and valve threads engaging. And one more thing, not the tool's fault; You must light up the fuel before turning on the oxy, as with any torch. But it takes a while turning the oxy valve to get it going, and the fuel burns sooty, throwing threads of carbon into the air until the oxy kicks in. I have a tight workspace with limited ventilation, but I also have an air cleaner. When I fire up this torch, the air cleaner's schmutz sensor pegs and the fan goes into overdrive. If you have otherwise good ventilation and some tolerance for a little dirt, I envy you. Otherwise, I strongly recommend adding an air cleaner to your shopping cart, if not for your lungs and cleaning chores, then for whoever shares your work and living space. -- wiredweird

Just OK, Design not well thought out. It works but has its flaws
This gets a 3.0 for the use of cheap wing nut design that the tanks barely fit into the bracket. 50 cents more a better method could have been had. The tank connection isn't ideal either. Trying to hold onto a bottle and a poorly designed valve while threading it together made it less than ideal. Sure it was only $80 and it does the job but I'd expect a better design overall. Id even spend a bit more to get better quality. Ill keep it as I only will need it occasionally for some light brazing work around the house.

Beautiful quality and very handy

Pretty good
Worked surprisingly well for a more bugrt friendly set up. The igniter broke on the first use but other than that it is a pretty good choice for automotive repair needs.

Scam
Tanks not included.. this was very confusing in the product description, and had a picture of them as if it was included. Very expensive product if we take into consideration the quality and the lack of tanks..
