I can't get my four year old out of the tub now!
My daughter has always been hesitant about getting in the bath and I bought her the Color My Bath! 300 Color Changing Bath Tablets which she loves. Then I saw these and I had to try them. They are a little bit difficult to clean up from our tiled walls but if she draws on the ceramic bathtub, it wipes right off. I gave her washcloths to clean up and she calls them "erasers" and she loves to draw and erase and then draw more! Yesterday I noticed her soaking a washcloth and sticking it to the wall and drawing on it! Then when she was done, she took the washcloth off, washed the colors, and put the washcloth back on the wall. I thought, what a genius idea!! No need to scrub the walls when she finishes each bath and she feels like a professional artist drawing on her little "canvas." The fact that my four year old came up with that idea on her own makes me proud of her. And I have to recommend this idea to other parents who have complained about having to clean up after every bath with these crayons. Give your children washcloths and try my daughters idea! At the end of the bath, we just rinsed the washcloths and that was the end of cleanup! Simple, mess-free, and so much fun! My daughter did not want to come out of the bath even though she has her own large easel with paints and crayons she can color on outside of the bath. She just got so excited by the idea of drawing inside the bath. I think this product is brilliant and when mixed with the tablets to color the water, you have a super colorful fun bath that children love!! I will be buying these again! :)

Do not buy these!
The colors and vibrancy are nice. That’s about it. Do NOT buy these. I don’t know how a company as big as Crayola messed this up but they did. A couple crayons came looking like they had melted before I even opened the package so that was a bit of a concern. We opened them anyways and it was like coloring with paint. The color was so thick and the crayons broke easily. I was able to clean it off the tub easily at first but after they played with them for a while, it got harder to clean. We ended up with a ring around the entire tub and as others mentioned, it got on the kids’ skin and I had to scrub it off of them. Also expect your bath mat you most likely have in the tub to get stained as well. I had to scrub the entire tub with bleach as soon as the kids got out. Extremely disappointing. The $1 at Target worked better

Great Colorful Experience
I purchased the crayons prior to reading the reviews. The main issue in the reviews was the difficulty in removing the markings from the tub. I didn’t have that trouble. The markings came off with little scrubbing, using only a wet sponge and shower gel. Also, I tend to disinfect my tub before and after use. There wasn’t any unseen grime grasping the markings to the tub.

Bathtime fun for the whole family
My daughter loves these crayons! They are softer than normal crayons, so they write easily for my 18 month old that doesn't quite grip crayons correctly yet. Even though they are soft, they are lasting much longer than I would have expected, since they get used daily. My husband presses unnecessarily hard, which is when they really show wear, but my daughter's light touch is keeping them going strong. We've had them for over a month and we've only pushed two of them up a notch once. Some reviews mentioned they are difficult to clean off of tile or can stain. I found that they are easy to wash off IF the tub/tile is clean. It's much harder to remove from areas with soap scum. Also, I haven't had any trouble with staining, though I have tried to avoid leaving it on the grout for more than the length of a child's bath. As a plus, I didn't notice any wording on the packaging to beware of skin irritation, like some of Crayola's bath products do. Fun for adults too, to leave silly messages for each other to read in the shower.UPDATE: We've now been using these for many months & I'm removing one star. The crayons have 4 notches to move the crayon up out of the holder, as they wear down. At one notch used, they still work fine. But now that we are moving to the 2nd notch, for each one, the crayon has broken & fallen out of the holder into the tub. This creates a choking hazard & makes the crayon unusable to its fullest extent.I struggled with whether or not to remove an additional star, but decided that the amount of joy received over many months for these, its still been well worth the money & I will continue to buy replacement sets.

Fun, but get ready to scrub!
Santa left these in my kids' stockings, and I was very excited about them at first. Don't get me wrong - the kids LOVE them. They have a ton of creative fun in the bath with them, making up stories as they draw pictures. For that, it is totally worth it. However, they do not wipe easily off the tub. I'm not sure why I expected otherwise, but I want to make sure others have fair warning. I have found the best so far is Dawn dish soap mixed with baking soda, or a similar commercial product like Soft Scrub should do it. It's not bad, but you will definitely have to get in there and scrub with a sponge every time. Also, a couple other notes - they do break a little easily, and they wear down kinda fast, so don't expect them to last real long; and the chips floating in the water stick on things sometimes. Plus, every time you bump a knee against a drawing, you will end up with bath crayon smudges on your skin. Lol! So, all told, they are a lot of fun, but definitely messy.

Not worth it
These lasted about 3 baths. They dont color if the walls of the tub get wet, if they get wet they mush and break super easy. They also just fall straight out of the holder. If they get left in the water for any ammount of time they start coming apart in big chunks which can be difficult to remove after the bath is over.Purchased for our toddler but will not purchase again.
