Turn-It Garlic Press

I bought this plastic "screw press", designed garlic crusher over 20 years ago, and it finally failed. I cook quite a lot each week and crush well over 30 cloves of garlic per week. This plastic crusher has lasted and delivers the perfect crush of garlic and juice necessary for perfectly cooking all dishes. Forget what the so-called "expert chefs" say about a garlic press. They know nothing! They never chop garlic anyway; someone else does it for them. Forget the simple one or two clove presses, that break within a year. This press can handle one or ten cloves at a time. Remember to cut your cloves into two or more pieces, after pealing, and you will be able to load this device with 6 or more large cloves. I bought three, so I will have enough until I die! The new design is improved, and the threaded section is easier to clean than the original design. Thank you to the brilliant engineer and cook and the plastic engineers that manufactured this great tool. I am forever grateful.

Leaves a bit of garlic behind, but other than this is a pretty nice screw.

I really like this garlic press. What I like best, is it holds a lot of garlic. If you have extra, you can add the cap and put it in the ice box. I have done that, and I did NOT notice any garlic smells in the ice box.I wish the product was made of metal or something stronger than plastic. I use a lot of garlic and I can see how it will eventually wear out. I'm thinking about ordering a spare. It really gets the job done.

Replacing an older model of this type of press. Design the same. Design of the components changed slightly to reduce cost (slightly thinner tube wall and less threads). Still the best type of press, particularly if you use an abundance of garlic.Although the description states that you can store garlic in the press, we have never done so.I typically fill the tube with cloves (skin removed) up to the threaded portion and then press away.Cleans easily but only rated at 4 stars as the threaded portion requires just a little more effort.Works great with minimal effort. Believe you would be happy with the purchase. Party on!

I was gifted this garlic press over 30 years ago and it is the best garlic press ever! I purchased this one for my daughter-in-law as she loves to cook and will appreciate this tool. Pretty soon I will have to replace mine as the stress lines are on the verge of splitting. Be that as it may, this tool is well worth the cost as it has been used frequently and for a long time.

This device is good to COARSELY (minus one star) crush garlic, especially for those who have problems using the squeeze handles type presses due to hand strength or pain. That is, the holes through which the garlic is pressed using screw action are larger than the holes typically found on the squeeze handles type presses. Also, it is somewhat hard to clean. One will need narrow bottle brush and a straw brush to do that thoroughly (minus another star) ... though if just rinsing is fine with you, add back a star.

Love it. Had one years ago so decided to replace it after it broke.

Background: I love garlic, on everythingProblem: Mincing garlic is a pain in the arse. Conventional garlic presses only allow you to do a few garlic cloves at a time. The amount of garlic I need in my life is way too damn high!Solution: Turn-It garlic press allows me to shove many garlic cloves into the easy-to-use tube! Allowing for the easy, fast, and delicious extraction of garlic essence and slather all over my *-insert noun here-*. Could not be happier!!!!
