Purchased this updated leash for my almost 2 year old GSD. She doesn't pull on the leash, but she likes to get the end of the leash in her mouth during a run. It has nice stretch to it and the handle is very comfortable. The best thing I do is move the "handlebar" grip on the leash up near the hand loop. I then put the loop around my wrist/lower forearm and hold onto the grip. Lets me have full control, it's comfortable, and if for some reason she tries to run off, I have 2 ways to stop her (even though she is trained well).Only reason I marked as a 4* instead of a 5* is b/c as I mentioned before with her putting the leash in her mouth, there is a little fray of fabric that is coming off. I think it is going to hold up, so I will update my review in a couple weeks.Worth it!*not paid or offered anything for free

We have a 55 lb pit bull mix puppy that we found. He is super smart and learning things each day but walking him on the leash has been very difficult. He is wild when out walking and wants to sniff everything and meet everyone. Often when people see a 55 lb pit bull barreling towards them, you can see fear. I would feel the same way. This leash offers amazing control and is very sturdy for me to keep him at bay. I use it with a training harness but I’m sure it would be fine using with a regular collar. Worth the little extra $$ instead of getting a cheap one that may breakaway or really lets the dog pull you too much.

It’s been almost a year since I ordered this leash. Sitting outside with the dog tonight & I thought I would order another for this Christmas! It’s out of stock! Breaks my heart! After going through numerous leashes with my Rotti puppy chewing them to bits. I finally struck gold. Yeah! Love this. He stopped trying to chew it. He's 120# puppy. LoL and this holds him very well. The seller even gave a coupon in the package to purchase other of their great animal products.

Very sturdy. I love the comfort grips, as we are in training with our foster. Regular leashes, which all frayed after 6 months of rotational use, gave blisters from correcting big wild puppy back into position. This is a much smoother, and more stiff/stronger leash. Clip looks heavy duty. I have zero worries about this leash.

This leash works well, as there are no short comings. It replaced a leash from a different manufacturer with the same type of hardware. The hardware on the leash it replaced came apart, and my dog ran out into a busy street. I have had no such problems with this one, but it is my backup leash. After that scare I use a leash with climbing caribiner type hardware.

I'll have to test the durability on my pup- since he likes to chomp through leashes with 1 snap. however they just only arrived. BEAUTIFUL! Very bright & vibrant, thick but comfortable.

The handle makes walking the dogs so much more comfortable for my hand. The easy bungee gives the dogs a little heads up its time to stop or start. The additional feature of the lower grip is priceless! How many times I have hurt my hand pulling a dog from trying to get a squirrel or another dog - this makes walking so much more enjoyable!
