Air Cleaner Assembly, 5-1/2 Diameter 3 Tall, 2-1/16 Inlet, Compatible with Dune Buggy

Ordered this for a standard 1600 single carb install on a Manx style buggy, bolts right on with supplied clamp with no issues, does the job, chrome is nice.

Really nice product for the price. I've put it on my Type-181 and because it's low-profile it doesn't rub like the old one did. It comes with a fitting on the bottom for, I assume, a PCV hose? (I don't know, really; this is a guess.) I had to plug this fitting with a bolt and a couple of rubber washers (not included, obvs) so it didn't suck in unfiltered air. Still, I'm not taking off a star for that, because the chrome finish really is a lot nicer than I would have expected for the price.

I installed the air filter on my 73 VW Thing. Works great, fits nicely.

Was the Perfect fit for the VW Buggy motor, adds flair to it. this was a project to get done that my husband has been working on since his father passed away and so glad that we found the parts to get it going. although the package was damaged the Product was in great shape

I love the look of this air cleaner on my Dune Buggy. It works as it should. My only complaint is: I really had to crank the screw on the clamp to get it tightened around the top of my carburetor. If that hadn't been so difficult, I would have given this 5 stars.

Was looking for an inexpensive air cleaner for a 1988 Harley Davidson Sportster project I am working on and gave this one a try. It was easy to modify to fit the bolt pattern of the CV carburetor. Looks pretty good, especially for the price.

Works as needed for stock single barrel carb.

Item arrived quickly and appears to be good quality chrome. Filter should serve my purposes. It would have been nice to come with a chrome wingnut rather than just a galvanized screw.
