As a result, one of the brake pads was completely coated in a slick layer of grease, requiring a tedious cleanup session before I could even think about beginning the installation. the clips were the wrong size - too big. Wasted time trying to get them to fit. i had to clean up and reuse the old ones. Buying rrear pads next - will buy another brand

Replaced (Bosch BC888) my stock front pads on my 2012 Nissan Murano AWD...easy installation. Comes with new hardware brackets and a small tube of brake lube.So far (a few hundred miles later) no issues...brakes are very quiet. I haven't noticed any noise at all.

I bought new rotors for my vehicle, so I decided to buy all new brake pads as well (which is the logical thing to do when changing rotors). The pads were easy to install, you know, standard brake installation, nothing special, but the performance of the pads was very disappointing. When they were first installed everything seemed to be all well, but a couple of weeks later, I started to hear the brakes squeaking when slowing down slowly. This became a constant thing and very embarrassing when driving through areas with crowds of people. I then notice that when I have to hit the brakes suddenly if a car jumps in front of me or if am applying the brakes when coming down a steep hill the brakes made a dreadful noise as if it was rubbing on stone. I went and took everything apart to make sure everything was done correctly and checked on the rotors and couldn't find any issues. I went ahead and ordered a Wagner Brake ThermoQuiet, which is the brand I was using before. No problems whatsoever now. Needless to say, I won't be using Bosch for brakes anymore.
