The one downside is it came with controllers with dead batteries. Once we replaced these it worked greatThe batteries. LR41. Needed to be ordered from Amazon they were not available locally

A well done replica of most famous battlebots: fun for young and adults.

I bought this set for my 2 grandsons, ages 8 & 5. They had a great time with it for about 1/2 hour when one of the remote controls stopped working. I knew we were in trouble when my computer tech husband couldn't revive it. So I contacted HEXBUG customer service. They were very helpful & sent me a replacement almost immediately. I was impressed -- it's hard to find such good customer service these days.

Bought this for my grandson's birthday, it put a large smile on his face and his sisters. Very good gift and it arrived on his birthday. It was a little pricey but the kids really liked it, so I was happy.

The arena was bent out of shape. The base doesn’t unfold flat which messes with the bots and keeps them from driving.

These are the most fun if you are familiar with Battlebots on TV, since they are models of actual robots. For a low price like this, it is unreasonable to expect a lot of capabilities. The IR remote control systems work a lot better than one would expect. Rarely does the IR signal get blocked. This is a good design. As someone else pointed out, only Bronco can win this match-up (by tipping over Witch Doctor). The spinner on Witch Doctor cannot do any damage and Witch Doctor cannot overpower Bronco by pushing. Get some other Battlebots and see how they do. Also, add the Arena FX Module so you can hear Faruq. A good improvement would be to have a better system of parts that fly off so you can keep score. The arena sitting on a table worked fine for us.

I agree with other reviewers that the arena was a little small. My grandson, though, couldn’t have been happier with this set. He loved the two battlebots that came with the arena and how much the arena looked like the one on the tv show. If you’ve purchased these battlebots before you know that the remotes are very small. I really liked this because it makes accessories easy to store. Also those that had difficulty with these remotes specifically need to check the instructions. You can set up the remotes to work independently. Otherwise, one remote will run both battlebots. I would definitely recommend this for battlebot enthusiasts!

Not worth the money. The arena falls apart constantly and that's before even using the bots - the bots are impossible to use. Need to be paired every few minutes just to get them moving. I bought early and saved for my grandsons birthday otherwise I would have returned. It was such a frustrating experience it was literally played with for 10 minutes total. Very disappointed.

Fue un regalo para mi hijo que es súper fan de la serie de Battle Bots , todo iba bien pero las pilas de los controles venían chorreadas y al no saberlo e intentar jugar los robots se apagaban al minuto de iniciar lo cual fue una mala experiencia ahora toca buscar baterías nuevas tanto para los robots como para los controles sería mejor que viniera sin baterías o bien que no vinieran colocadas para evitar su desgaste

Kids loved this. After watching it on tv it's fun to play. Also keeps cats and dogs from chasing the botts.
