These bottles actually gave me a bit of nostalgia. My grandmother always squeezed her own orange juice and then bottled it in bottles like these. I used them for an orange juice and coconut water beverage so that I could just grab them and go.The hardest part was getting the juice into the bottles. You definitely need a funnel to get anything in there, but once it's in there, they don't make a mess, even when I shake them up. The seal is solid.

This order comes with 2 bottles. I like the style, having 10 sides looks very elegant. The bottles are made of sturdy, thick glass. The bottom of the glass is slightly concave.The bottle top is a swing-top, with a steel frame supporting the plastic cap. A rubber washer will seal the cap to the bottle.The bottles will definitely hold the advertised 25 ounces, and probably a little more. However, my bottles were not liquid-tight. The swing-tops did not "snap" as tightly as I was used to and, when held at a downward angle, liquid did drip out. Obviously, as long as the bottles are upright, this will not be an issue. However, if liquid can seep out then I'm sure gas can also escape, so carbonated liquids will probably not keep super long.If the lids were tighter, these would be 5-star bottles.

These are very attractive bottles and they have a nice weighty feel to them. There's a slight green tint to these bottles made in Italy. I've used bottles with this type of swing type closure and I really like them. The problem with these is that the red rubber stopper doesn't stay in place. You have to manually make sure that it's centered properly or the bottle will not be leakproof. The rubber should be attached to the top piece; you shouldn't have to center it each time. Other than that, they're good.

The bottles themselves are very nice and appear high quality. The problem with these is that they don't seal properly. I put some water in one of mine, sealed it, turned it upside down and shook it a bit. Water dripped out of the seal. I thought maybe some water was stuck somewhere on the outside, so I made absolutely sure that it was completely dried and tried again. Once again, it dripped out. It's not an extremely fast leak, but water definitely comes out. I wasn't shaking it that hard either. I was just jiggling it a bit. If water can get out, tiny things can get in. In other words, bacteria. This is probably fine for things like vanilla, since the high alcohol content will just kill anything that gets in there. However, I would not trust it for anything that actually needs to be sealed.

These swing-top glass bottles are attractive and are great to store effervescent water kefir or kombucha in the fridge. You could also use them for that leftover wine or special vinegars. I don't have a Sodastream type product, but they'd probably be good for homemade carbonated beverages as well. They'd be too pricey to bottle a large batch of beer or wine, of course, and you'd really like darker glass for that purpose.

I love having various, decorative bottles for my dipping oils and this one is fabulous. I love that it's air tight so it keeps my oils super fresh. I do store them away from light since the glass is clear, but they look gorgeous when I bring them to the table and set them out for dinner. Nice, heavy glass that should hold up for years. The air tight cork has a swivel that is tight enough to seal but not so hard that you run the possibility of breaking it. All around great purchase.

Adds great decor to my home. Use it for pickling so amazing.
