Willbee the Bumblebee Kindle Edition

One of my favorite books of my sons. We also have the wonky donkey (same author) and he enjoys both books. Illustrations are cute, story is sweet. Recommend to toddler parents.

Sweet, tender story. My granddaughter loves it!

I loved how this book teaches very young or not so very young children the importance of bumblebees in nature in a way they can grasp easily. Who doesn't enjoy a story involving helpfulness and cooperation? The illustrations are wonderful and the story is sweet! My 7 y.o. grandson enjoys it as much as the 3 year olds.

Great book! Not quite wonkey donkey, but fun to read. Nice illustrations. Good storyline

This is a sweet story that the little ones will become wrapped up in immediately and will want to read repeatedly. It has some big-eyed, dopey creatures we frequently take for granted or are afraid of, a bee, a butterfly, and a spider… and we like these guys immediately. We learn quickly about the important job bees have of delivering pollen, and your kids will be sympathetic when Willbee’s jersey catches on a thorn and unravels and he’s – ulp – without clothes. And he’s cold. His friends come to his rescue and illustrator Cowley, who’s quite excellent – leaves him on the final page with such a charming expression on his face, it may make your kids look at bees with more understanding. Qualities shown in this book; empathy and sharing. This is a softcover book with gentle rhyming. Craig Smith is a musician, too, and it looks like Amazon has an album by him with a song that matches the title.

I love Willbee the Bumblebee. He is a very sweet and curious bumblebee that loses his clothes and with the help of Moni and Steve, they help Willbee get his new sweater. This story teaches children about bumblebees, how important they are to the environment and how they pollinate the flowers.

I will read this book with my class. This book is great for primary school students in Germany to improve their English skills!

Grandkids love listening to this story. Lovely pictures too, as well as telling about bees being needed in garden and helping others and thanking that help.

It’s a very cute story, not quite as funny as the Wonky Donkey (by the same author), but better than a lot of kids books out there. It has a good message about helping one another and I think my granddaughter will enjoy it.That said, I bought this as a gift and once again delivery from Amazon was not up to par. Prompt, yes. Good condition, no. Realizing it’s just a kids book, it will of course get its character marks pretty quick from being well loved, but if you are giving this book as a gift, I recommend going to a book store for it so that you don’t have to give a gift that already has 7 wrinkles in the front and back covers, and looks used.
