## Questions & Answers

**Q: So the ink cartridge comes with it is only good for printing 3 photos and that's it?! Are you serious?**
A: As others have pointed out, it comes with supplies to print 5 photos.  Unlike other printers, this is a dye-sublimation printer - you buy the ink and paper together in packs - if you buy a 36 print pack, you get paper and "ink" for 36 prints, exactly.  Personally I recommend the 108 packs (three of the 36 print packs essentially) since you get a great discount.  You can find the 108 packs on sale for around $28 from time to time if you keep an eye out.

**Q: If you don't use on a regular basis, will the film cartridges "dry" up like ink cartridges do on an ink jet**
A: I bought some of the film/stock packs in bulk back in 2009 (CP780 Selphy) when Target was running a killer sale. I still have a few left and they work and print fine. Doesn't appear to dry or have a short shelf life.

**Q: My Selphy is frozen on the 'Canon' screen, any help?**
A: Did you try using a different USB cord?

**Q: does this printer print in portiat mode are landscape mode**
A: I had no problem printing the pictures in each mode.
