Like: a quality soap. Three-milled is my taste. I’ve stayed with, for 50 years. Once I found a load at 99-cent store for 50 cents each (I figured it may have come from a truck wreck.) I bought a lot and used for years. Now I pay a lot to keep it going.

It smells heavenly and does not leave my skin dried out like other soaps.

I used this soap decades ago and thought I'd try it again. The quality seems to have gone down. The scent just isn't what it used to be.

I have been using Yardley's lavender soap for years. What a disappointment when I recently purchased it.There is no lavender scent whatsoever. If I had wanted an ordinary soap I could have bought one at thedrugstore. Yardley's joins a growing list of iconic British products which have lost their excellence by trying tomake products on the cheap. (Cadbury's; Terry's). Yardley's is an Indian company not a British one.Rather than send the product back and wasting the postage, I am chucking it and buying another brand. Yardley's should be ashamed of itselfby stinting on ingredients and trying to pass off this crap as "lavender soap".

Used all my life this soap does not irritate any skin type. Hard to find in store.. it is the original, not the white soap USA copy.

As always, Yardley English Lavender stands at the front of those very special gifts for The Best Lady in my life.

scent is very strong which is neither here nor there, but the bar is quite small in the hand and the lather is super subpar....like really really bad. At $5 a bar yardley should be ashamed for putting such a bad product on the market

I ordered 2 x Yardley London Original English Lavender Soap 3 x 100g. I recieved one of these and one Yardley By Yardley English Lavender Luxury Soaps 3x3.5 Oz Each. Big difference between the two.
