Logan Replacement Mat Cutting Blade 269-100 for Framers Edge 650 Mat Cutter, Pack of 100 blades

I like that it fit my Alto’s cutter. The blade is slightly thinner than the original (+/- ???). The blades are protected with oil, most likely mineral oil and probably should be cleaned first with isopropyl or ethyl alcohol. This is a negative, since it means the blade will most likely rust if not re-oiled before next use.

Sharp as hell....

Purchased these for my Alto 45. The width, height and hole placement are basically identical. They are just a hair thicker. But the cassette still fits back into the cutter without problem - just a tiny bit more snuggly.

I ordered these based on the package dimension information (1-1/2" x 3/4"), intending to get spares for my Alto's model 45 mat cutter. Measuring the actual size of the blades I found them to be 0.745x1.51. Too long for the Alto's holder. The width is acceptable due to sharpening and burnishing variations. The length can be made to work by grinding a bit off the holder's keeper corner. You can try jamming into the holder, but it will skew the blade for the cut. Still, being that Alto's seems no longer to be selling their product, the package is a good deal for spare blades, assuming you can make the minor grinding modification.

I do not have a Logan mat cutter but these blades will work in it. I also want to say that the first time I ordered, I didn't get this size. There was evidently a mistake and I ended up with a larger blade that didn't work. Wish I could remember who I chatted with about it but the person was GREAT! Confirmed the glitch and suggested I wait a couple of days until it was worked out and try ordering again--worked that time! Always been pleased with Amazon and the couple of people I have been in contact with were great!
