June Jacobs Citrus Clarifying Conditioner, 6.7 Fl Oz

Tried this while on vacation, and fell in love with the scent. Great hair products!

This is a great conditioner for my somewhat frizzy, short hair. It is light enough to take out the worst frizz but not too heavy to make it go limp. I love it!

I've tried the June Jacobs Citrus Clarifying Conditioner at a hotel I stayed at in Singapore and was completely in love with how it made my hair feel and the scent of the product itself. Unfortunately this wasn't the same product at all. I'm not sure if this is the "new" formula or the same conditioner or if this is just the US version of the product but it is nothing like the one I had fallen in love with. First of all, this is an off-white gel while the other is more of a yellow-ish color. While I love the pleasant citrus scent of the hotel version I tried, this had an awful overpowering scent that made my hair smell like I'd sprayed insect repellent on it. Worst still, the scent could not be masked even after using hair scents and such other products. Strangely though the product that I'd tried in Singapore was made in Malaysia but isn't sold locally. I honestly thought this would be that same formula since the brand and name is exactly the same and I've read reviews of how nice smelling it was, citrus-y and all but this is definitely a different product. I'd like to think it was just that I had gotten a bad product but I ordered 3 and all 3 were exactly the same.

My mom picked up the Green Tea and Cucumber clarifying shampoo and conditioner from a hotel she stayed in. I used it yesterday and was incredibly disappointed. I have very fine naturally blonde hair that requires a lot of conditioner. I used the entire 1.25 oz. tube and got nothing but suds. I half wondered if I had accdentally used more shampoo. When I use conditioner, I fully expect to be able to run my fingers through it to detangle it. I got nothing out of this. Even after getting it distributed through my hair, it was still a tangled mess. I had to put my own conditioner on top of it to smooth my hair out. This is definitely the worst conditioner I have ever used.

Love June Jacobs products; have been using them for years and glad to be able to order them. Hair products are especially good.
