Rio Beach Classic 5-Position Lay-Flat Folding Beach Chair

This chair is great. Especially for the price. My wife loves it, the expandable cup holder is great, comfy chair. We have two older lay-flat beach chairs and, and this one is better for laying down flat, hard to explain why but both of us think so. Also appreciate the over the shoulder carry strap. We've had it for about a month, mainly using it in the backyard. It's smooth and easy to open/close. Chance that will change once we start taking the chair to the beach, but great so far.

Im happy with my purchase! Pretty chair, easy to carry and set up at the beach. Feels sturdy and my cat likes it too. I recommend! 😊😂❤️

This is my second time buying this chair (my first one was in great condition but after three years of use, the cup holder came off with no way to reattach, and its one of my favorite features). Very comfortable, a wider seat (those of us with hips are thankful for that). The arm strap makes it easy to carry and I love how adjustable it us (you can lay entirely flat if you wanted to). My only wish is that it has a headrest but other than that, it's my favorite beach chair!

Durability = Not Good !, from May 3 2024 until October 19 2024 This is why I delay my review until one summers use . It did look nice though however it doesn't preform ! October Update October 21 2024 A business that honors their warranty , Fast . This represents a good company I will post a picture when I receive the replacement Beach chair. October 27 2024 picked up my warranty Beach chair (the most I have ever paid for a small Beach chair) they said they could not give me the same color I originally ordered. Hmm , Hopefully it will last more than 4.5 months. PS : I never took it to the beach ! Just used it following the shade in the back yard.

After looking at multiple other chairs in stores (only to find them poorly made and more expensive), we took the leap and bought three of these. We were not disappointed. They are well-made, sturdy and highly functional. The ability to lie flat is also a plus. The only nit is the strap is not as high-quality as the rest of the chair, but they worked fine walking to and from the beach. I would definitely recommend these.

Purchased this for a summer beach vacation for my husband. He loved the chair!! Colors are very bright and vibrant. Very sturdy material and quick to dry. Cup holder was an added plus. Great for water bottles, twist cap sodas or cans. He loved he could adjust the arms to recline or sit up. His only complaint was no pillow (easily solved with a small town or beach pillow) and he would've preferred the back straps to carry. Even with the shoulder strap, it was adjustable and very light weight. I typically carried my chair on my back and his with no issues.

We enjoy or beach visits so much better with these comfortable chairs. They sit low to the ground which makes them good to stretch out our legs. A little difficult for old folks to rise up from but that builds muscles 😊 Light to carry with the handy strap.

Don't bother spending too much time looking at the "actual" product picture before you purchase because the chair you get may not be manufactured the same way as the photo. The chair I got does not have the curve on the top bar so if you recline with your head back it lays directly in line with the bar at the top of the chair. Incredibly stupid design. Uncomfortable chair. Look elsewhere before wasting money on this one. It may work out if you are under 4'6". Update after using the chair a few times. It is even worse than I thought. as other reviewers have noted, the plastic notches made for the "5 positions" are made of cheap plastic. First time I tried to recline and the back just collapsed. I weigh less than 200 lbs so weight should not be an issue. This is is cheap plastic and a shoddy design. The soft plastic just gave way as soon I reclined. See photo and you can see the broken plastic. I made a final try to get get comfortable by laying flat. Guess what! If you put the chair all the way flat using the support bar on the back, the bar at the bottom of the chair is higher than the seat or back making it impossible to lie flat. Just an awful product. Deserves zero stars.
